Reading has been a significant part of life since my childhood, but it isn’t always easy to find the time for it these days. Between taking care of my little one, working from home, and maintaining my house I’m lucky to even get 20 minutes in. Today, I’m making a commitment to ᴄʀᴇᴀᴛᴇ time for it. I hope everyone is taking care of themselves and keeping a safe distance—physically AND socially if necessary. I’ve been taking the time to reconnect with my highest self, expanding my knowledge, and appreciating the art of silence. The answers I seek are usually revealed through my own stillness. I remember 7 years ago somebody who is no longer in my life had the audacity to criticize my level of self-awareness simply because I refused to choose one single favourite colour. I found it challenging at the time because I appreciated the essence and power behind every shade and each one would resonate with me depending on my mood.
