Kira's Bizarre Adventure

My final piece for SuleMio Week 2026, for the free day, kind of got out of hand in length, but hey, I hope that means there is more to enjoy. It is sort of multiple small vignettes in this AU that slowly link together, so I hope it feels good to read.

Overall, I really enjoyed making pieces for this event, and I hope you enjoyed reading them! 

Summary: A chance encounter at the eponymous bar leads to a life worth living for Miorine Rembran and Suletta Mercury.

Preview:

It was late at night on a day in the middle of autumn. It had been about five months since Miorine “moved out” of her father’s home (i.e. she ran away from home as soon as she could, right out of an incredibly isolating college experience), and she felt she was finally starting to settle down in the big city. Sure, she was still running through her savings, fast, but she managed to make her meager apartment feel like home, and she was going steady with a job at a nearby grocery store. Unfortunately, she was working most hours of the day, and she usually felt wiped out in the evening.

Thankfully, tonight, she was coming off of a relatively relaxed day, one that left her a bit of energy, which finally gave her the chance to check out a place she had been meaning to ever since she moved here: A local lesbian bar called The Witch’s Curse, one she’d heard a lot of good word of mouth about on different forums she’d perused when trying to pick a place to flee to. It sounded like a good place to get to know people, explore the romances she never could under her father’s thumb.

Ever since her mother passed, her failure of a father kept trying to push her into different relationships with different rich suitors. She hated that she didn’t get a say in any of this, in being forced into romantic situations from a young age, though it certainly didn’t help that all of them were straight women, and she came to realize that she was a much less straight woman. Under her father, though, all she could do was imagine a beautiful future where she didn’t have to be Delling Rembran’s son and browse the internet to find like-minded individuals.

Day 6 of SuleMio Week 2026 is here, with a little piece mid-canon! It features teaching the other to pilot as well as mirrors, and hopefully it works out well!

Summary: As a part of Asticassia's prerequisite list, Miorine has to learn to pilot. Can Suletta guide her?

Preview: 

Miorine looked through the limited viewscreen of the standard issue Demi Trainer she sat in. She gripped the two control sticks in front of her, sweat pooling at her palms. She kept tension on the levers her feet rested upon, probably using a bit too much force to keep the machine stopped in place. The three terminals blinked with details she could barely parse on her own. Just looking at one made her grip tighter.

“Alright,” Suletta said next to her, crouching the limited extra space in the cockpit, “You just need to switch the pressure from your left leg to your right while pushing both joysticks forward. Got it?” She said it in such a calm, guiding tone, warm and nonjudgemental. A tone of voice she hadn’t heard in a long time.

The newest piece for SuleMio Week 2026 brings us to an Office Worker AU where our duo Sneaks Out and Glasses also occur! Yippee, hope you enjoy reading this shorter piece!

Summary: When sneaking out of their shared job working for Delling Rembran, Miorine thought Sulett and her would be going out for some romantic lunch, or  maybe something a bit more... romantic... not some errand!

Preview:

Miorine looked out the windshield at the slightly decrepit strip mall in front of her, eye slightly twitching. When Suletta had proposed this whole “Sneak out in the middle of the workday” plan, she thought it would be for some cute date, or a whole day out on the town. Something worth all the stress of sneaking out from under her father’s nose. Not some trip to get her… glasses…

“Suletta, what the hell?” she asked.

The woman who drove her here shyly looked downward, awkwardly touching her index fingers, “W-well, you said you needed a new pair of glasses, and I know your dad doesn’t like you wearing them, and you’re usually too busy for your other appointments, s-so… yeah?”

She wasn’t… wrong. Her vision had been getting worse by the day, meaning her current prescription had been getting worse and worse. Plus, glasses were the more comfortable option to her, even though her dad wouldn’t let her wear them. It wasn’t like he’d let her do an actual job in the company, either So…

Here is my piece for day four of SuleMio Week 2026! This time, I’m using the Princess/Knight AU as well as them Sharing a hobby and getting competitive, for a fun little piece that I really enjoyed making! So, I hope you enjoy reading it!

CW: Discussion of dead parents

Summary: The princess of the Benerit Kingdom, Miorine Rembran, only feels free riding her horses. As such, when she meets with the knight leading her to potential freedom, she feels the need to share this part of her with the warrior.

Preview:

Taking off her helmet, Suletta sighed in her small, private room, her red, braided hair hitting the back of her neck. It was sweltering within the armor’s metal walls, so it was always a relief when she could take it off, letting her face be hit with anything cooler. Of course, the times it was safe to do that were incredibly rare, Her mother told her if anyone knew who she was, she would likely be killed in an instant. Benerit’s mages hadn’t yet detected her through her armor, though, thankfully.

Speaking of, she turned the helmet’s face back to her own, “Aerial, thank you for helping me today. I don’t think I could have beaten Shaddiq without you.”

The armor didn’t speak back, but she could feel her approval coursing through her mind, putting Suletta at ease, even with all the knicks and chips the duel put in Aerial. For now, she could just remove the rest of the suit and relax for the night.

Welcome to SuleMio Week Day 3, covering the Astronaut AU and Building things together! This time I got a tad cheeky with the prompts I think, so I hope you enjoy this overview of our two little spacebound souls!

CW: Anxiety, Space

Summary: With fears of Suletta making her first space walk, Miorine reminisces on their recent relationship.

Today was a horrid day for one Miorine Rembran. Her training, her preparations, were never meant to be used, and they often weren’t needed. The missions she guided often went without a hitch. Of course, on the one where she actually cared about who she was guiding, something had to go wrong. Miorine gripped the table in front of her, the small, thin microphone pointed directly at her mouth. Her lips were left in a tense line, stress betraying her expression for the first time in a while, in public at least. Sure, this room was heavily secure, only surrounded by her mission control peers, and even still, she tended to keep a fair amount of distance from her colleagues. But now, she couldn’t hide the stress she felt for another human being. She didn’t think she could ever feel like this again, after her mother died and her father essentially abandoned her, seeing her as a poor heir for his military industrial empire.

In fact, before recently, she would wake up in the morning, head into work, practice at her station, do whatever benign paperwork she was assigned, then go home. She didn’t need anything else. That was until her team was introduced to the astronauts they would be guiding. Most were the same sorry batch of researchers she couldn’t care less about, but one…

Hey, I’m back for SuleMio Week 2026, following both Kiss and Medical Checkup to create this little piece. It’s a little longer than the last, so there is that. I hope you like reading it!

CW: Hospitals

Summary: During a routine checkup, Suletta finds herself growing anxious about the future. Seems like it's Miorine's job to make her forget those worries.

Preview: 

Suletta was surrounded by the same off-white walls she had lived within for the past month, ever since she awoke from her brief coma. The room was nice enough, even if she wasn’t a fan of the fluorescent lights, or the oft-too-clean aesthetic of the place, or the constantly noisy machinery, especially the hear monitor’s constant beep…beep... Okay, she never really did like hospitals all that much. But at least her room had a wonderful view of the sprawling space colony the hospital was housed within. Plus, right in front of said window, sat Miorine, tenderly holding her hand, even if she couldn’t fully feel the sensation.

Suletta felt herself begin to stir, a familiar weight around her waist missing. Usually, on nearly every morning, she would wake up with her wife clung around her waist, hair all tangled, a bit of her drool ending up on Suletta’s night shirt. It was always so cute to see Miorine, publicly so put together, laying on her all messily. She loved it.
