☾ “You must live for those that love you!” ☽

This costume has always been a dream for me since I got into sailor moon. I wanted to take a different approach at her dress and make it into a ballgown vs the high low. Not only was this my first time ever creating 2 ballgowns (the other cosplay pictured here) completely on my own, but because of my severe procrastination, my deadline was less than a month away. 😱 Though even with the odds against me, I managed to completely both gowns in time. The skirt was supposed to have LEDs, but sadly they weren’t done in time for Katsucon. The good news is that they WILL be made and debuted at Megacon 2016! I am very grateful I managed to finish this cosplay along with my other ballgown in time (I am also VERY glad it didn’t fall apart at the con 😭). Shout out to all the friends for giving me support while making this cosplay and yelling at me when I forgot to eat. 😂💓

After debuting this cosplay at the con (and the personal drama that followed 😒), I think one of the many things I had to re-learn about cosplay was that when you create something that makes you happy, it doesn’t matter who likes it or not, you should be proud of the work you put in for it. No matter how much you are ignored by the people you felt would appreciate it, you still proved to yourself that you can do it. 

Don’t ever let someone tell you can’t do something you love. 💕

Made a witchy coord for Anime Revolution’s Angelic Pretty Tea Party. I was inspired by the magical moon’s and stars in the print to do a Cinderella’s fairy godmother inspired coord. I felt like a magical girl! Especially with my lightup wand and mouse familiar.
