okay nike ( @merciaes​ ), lets talk about how this is NOT an apology and is not enough after what you did MULTIPLE TIMES. you wrote smut of a minor who was established as a minor during the manga canon (which you didn’t bother to research because you made it very clear that you don’t read manga) and is freshly just 18. your response to being called out for this inappropriate behaviour is to delete all your blogs and then offer up this half hearted “im sorry, i fucked up”? you are 22 years old, nike-- you know better. you and c.opyquirked need to take accountability for your actions because you are both LEGAL ADULTS WHO SHOULD KNOW BETTER. obviously you don’t, and both of you don’t know how to make a proper apology apparently (g/aslighting and manipulating and throwing out accusations and wanting pity aren’t fucking apologies either).

i haven’t forgotten your actions in the server we were in together. i haven’t forgotten the extremely inappropriate thing you said to petra while in character after you told us one of your many jobs. it was out of line, and disgusting to use that language in any situation. you fucking know better, or i assumed you would. but now i’m disappointed, and embarrassed by you.

there’s   still   something    𝔬𝔡𝔡    about   it,    being   out   in   public   like   this    ——    but   that    𝚍𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚛    is   gone   now.    there   is   no   more   kira,    he’s   dead.    𝚔𝚒𝚛𝚊   𝚜𝚒𝚝𝚜   𝚒𝚗   𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚗𝚝   𝚘𝚏   𝚑𝚒𝚖,    𝚑𝚘𝚕𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐   𝚑𝚒𝚜   𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚍,    𝚍𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐   𝚊   𝚖𝚞𝚐   𝚘𝚏   𝚋𝚕𝚊𝚌𝚔   𝚌𝚘𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚎.    and   yet,    there   is   no    𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭    in   their   touch,    rather,    an   affection,    one   they’d   spoken   of   so    𝘧𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘺    before   his    𝖑𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙    was   put   out   in   mere   moments,    taken   from   him   at   the   touch   of   that    𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐝   𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞.    but   that   was   past   them   now.    light   and   ryuzaki,    kira   and   L,    𝚖𝚊𝚌𝚋𝚎𝚝𝚑   𝚊𝚗𝚍   𝚖𝚊𝚌𝚍𝚞𝚏𝚏   𝚑𝚊𝚍   𝚛𝚎𝚞𝚗𝚒𝚝𝚎𝚍   𝚘𝚗𝚌𝚎   𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎.    

hands   still   delicate   in   death   offer   the   other’s   a   gentle   squeeze   before   lips   close   around   straw    ——    𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙙   𝙘𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙚.    𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙙   𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙬.    he   had   never   considered   it   when   he   was   still   alive.    they   were   so   sweet,    he   didn’t   even   need   to   add   the    𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀    amounts   of   sugar   that    𝔩𝔦𝔳𝔦𝔫𝔤    tongue   craved.    “    i   like   this.    ”    sunken   eyes   flicker   from   the   lid   of   his   drink   to   light’s    ——    do   they   grow   brighter   at   the   sight   of   his   beloved?    “    do   you   like   yours?    ”    eyebrows   raise   as   drink   is   set   down    ——    yet   space   is   occupied   by   a   particularly    𝕥𝕖𝕞𝕡𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘    slice   of   strawberry   cake.

ryuzaki   is   𝑐𝑜𝑙𝑑   in   his   grasp,     thumb   sliding   absentmindedly   over   the   other’s   hand   as   they   sit   in   the   busy   café.     the   days   seem   to   blend   together   here;     a   realm   of   their   own   where   the   sun   rises   and   sets   with   them.     this   has   never   felt   like   𝖍𝖊𝖑𝖑,     instead   a   place   where   he   has   found   happiness   back   in   this   man   who   sits   opposite   him;     hair   erratic   and   eyes   peering   at   him   expectantly.     even   now,     light   can   feel   L   in   his   arms,     letting   go   of   his   shirt   as   he   realizes   that   his   lover   has   a   𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝   𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞,     a   wicked   heart               YOU   WERE   CHANGED   IN   THAT   MOMENT,     heart   blackened   once   more   at   the   touch   of   the   notebook   against   your   mortal   flesh.     𝒉𝒐𝒘   𝒊   𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅   𝒚𝒐𝒖   𝒇𝒐𝒓   𝒂𝒍𝒍   𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆   𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔.

um   so   first   of   all   thank   you   so   much   for   sending   this   in   and   complimenting   my   portrayal   🥺🥺🥺     light   is   a   character   close   to   my   heart   and   i’m   so   happy   you   think   that   i’m   doing   an   amazing   job   ♡

i   definitely   have   a   FEW   opinions   on   this   and   hopefully   i   explain   this   properly.     light   is   canonly   soichiro’s   oldest   child   as   well   as   his   only   son.     i   personally   headcanon   that   all   light   has   EVER   wanted   to   be   in   his   lifetime   is   a   detective   due   to   his   father.     we   see   that   soichiro   is   extremely   dedicated   to   both   his   work   as   well   as   his   family,     and   this   is   a   quality   that   light   would   find   admirable   in   him.     we   can   see   as   light   uses   the   death   note   more   and   more   that   he   never   has   any   wish   to   kill   his   family   as   they   aren’t   his   targets.     (   however   if   light   had   to   choose   a   member   of   his   family,     he   would   choose   his   dad   as   soichiro   is   the   most   useful   to   him.   )   

its   important   to   remember   that   while   light   was   in   confinement,     soichiro   voluntarily   was   as   well   because   of   his   dedication   to   his   son.     even   though   light   forgets   all   about   being   kira,     he’s   still   incredibly   arrogant,     egotistical,     and   narcissistic;     learning   that   his   father   believed   in   him   would   still   affect   him   and   how   light   feels   towards   him.     of   course   there   is   the   ‘   execution   ‘,     however   i   believe   that   light   would   be   able   to   separate   his   personal   feelings   for   his   professionalism   and   forgive   his   father   and   L   for   it.     during   the   time   where   light   has   no   memories   of   the   death   note,     he   spends   his   time   working   on   the   kira   case   [   but   mostly   with   L,     they’re   literally   chained   together   ]   meaning   that   he   is   interacting   with   his   dad   WAY   MORE   than   with   sayu   or   his   mom   (   remember   when   light   was   like   if   sayu   dies   she   dies   idc  .  .  .     yeah   me   too   ).     it’s   also   made   extremely   clear   that   light   has   helped   his   dad   on   numerous   occasions   with   cases,     so   much   so   that   he   is   known   by   first   name   by   the   people   who   work   the   front   desk.    

to   fully   understand   how   soichiro’s   death   affected   light,     i   think   it’s   important   to   understand   what   he   has   been   through   up   until   that   point.     he   has   had   five   years   of   playing   god   with   L   dead,     with   no   adversaries   against   him.     when   soichiro   passes   WHILE   KNOWING   MELLO’S   NAME,     light   is   pissed   because   he’s   lost   his   chance   to   kill   what   should   have   been   an   easy   target   for   him   to   eliminate.     it   was   established   when   soichiro   had   his   heart   attack   early   on   in   the   manga   that   light   was   genuinely   upset   and   shocked   when   this   happened   (   thinking   it   was   the   second   kira   and   learning   it   was   because   soichiro   is   overworked;     light   is   happier   that   it’s   natural   rather   than   an   attempt   on   his   father’s   life   ).

“     oh,     it   wasn’t   anything  important.     “     his   tone   pleads   𝔦𝔫𝔫𝔬𝔢𝔫𝔠𝔢,     bashfulness   presenting   itself   in   a   facade.     she   is   smart,     it’s   obvious   even   now               but   she   cannot   best   you   [   NO   ONE   CAN   ].     he   places   his   words   carefully,     laying   the   unstable   foundations   for   the   lies   that   will   flow   from   blackened   tongue.     “     i   wanted   to   ask   you   on   your   thoughts   about   the   𝐊𝐈𝐑𝐀   investigation               it’s   a   hot   topic,     isn’t   it?     “     𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔   𝒊𝒔   𝒉𝒐𝒘   𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕   𝒚𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒎𝒊   𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒔,     twisting   people   around   his   finger;     he   will   succeed   even   now,     even   when   someone   dares   to   question   god   (  .  .  .   his   voice   is   soft   satin   /   no   flaws   that   can   be   distinguished   ).     𝔡𝔢𝔳𝔦𝔩   𝔬𝔫   𝔪𝔶   𝔰𝔥𝔬𝔲𝔩𝔡𝔢𝔯,     mind   twisted   &.*   played   with   the   SHARPENED   STRINGS   of   this   crooked   puppeteer;     you   lost   yourself   in   your   lust.     he   can   hear   that   ringing   in   his   ears,     a   cacophony   of   𝑡𝑤𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑑   𝑐𝑎𝑐𝑘𝑙𝑒𝑠   crescendoing.     he   is   smart,     the   creator   of   a   seamless   plan   that   none   can   break   [   not   her,     not   L   ].     he   wishes   for   her   to   sing   praises   for   the   HIDDEN   GOD   within   this   physique,     to   be   unknowing   as   he   drinks   it   freely;     𝕤𝕨𝕖𝕖𝕥   𝕒𝕞𝕓𝕣𝕠𝕤𝕚𝕒   on   his   lips.     they   know   nothing   of   your   divinity,     fooled   by   this   facade   of   mundane   curiosity.     “     so,     how   do   you   think   kira   managed   to   learn   the   identities   of   all   of   those   fbi   agents?     i   haven’t   been   able   to   work   it   out.     “
