Hmm I think it would be when they found out Sandra was the killer. Maro takes it much better than Cecile, who's horrified and devastated. In all his time at Nightcap Cecile got really attached to her (since Maro already knew how to make cocktails Sandra ended up teaching Cecile all of her tips and tricks and he was incredibly grateful for that) So when the truth came out he felt deeply conflicted and betrayed. Everything in him is screaming to turn her in because that's what he was taught and that's what should be "right", but his heart sees her struggles and can't stop hurting for her even though he hates the path she chose. This is the point where all of his old beliefs and inner conflicts reach their breaking point. He clashes with Maro's calm understanding of the situation and they end up having a huge fight over what they should do. Maro wants Sandra to flee while Cecile sees that as Maro justifying her actions and, by extension, admitting that he's capable of murder too (which he is, physically, but not mentally) Cecile is terrified that the world might be far more unfair and cruel than the perfect version he always wanted to believe in, and that he's too powerless to help people or make things right (and he has to make things right or he feels like he'll end up just like his father) He's hesitant to accept Sandra's circumstances because doing so would mean admitting that he no longer knows what's truly right or wrong

16. Small acts of kindness they do for each other?

Cecile makes lunch boxes for Maro for his late-night shifts (and now for both of them since they work together) He makes sure to handle all the exhausting social interactions that Maro hates and, in general, tries to be as helpful as possible even if it doesn't always go as planned

Maro notices Cecile's moods just by observing him and steps in to remind him to take breaks or practically kicks him outside to touch some grass. He may look like he wants nothing to do with anyone (which is mostly true), but he's also the one who suggested Cecile crash at his place until he found a proper job. He also brushes and braids Cecile's hair sometimes

23. How do they express affection physically?

Cecile is a very touchy person, he just drapes himself all over Maro or affectionately headbutts him whenever he's feeling clingy

Maro's affection is much more subtle. He doesn't mind Cecile leaning on him, though if he gets too annoying he'll simply shove him off. Still, he'll rest his legs on Cecile pretty often and occasionally pat him on the head (He has to awkwardly reach up to do that when he's not wearing his heels and Cecile is absolutely not allowed to laugh about it or he'll get smacked instead)

Also they both often fall asleep on each other

29. What are they proud of each other for?

Cecile is the type of person who could ramble for hours about how proud he is of someone, so the list would be endless hahaha

But I think the biggest thing is seeing how much more relaxed and less guarded Maro has become. That includes showing interest in... well, pretty much anything. Cecile is genuinely happy whenever he sees Maro enjoying something just for himself. He's also proud of how smart, handsome, skilled, capable, confident, and determined he is and also—

Maro has seen Cecile at his absolute lowest, but he's always admired how practically unbreakable his will is. Cecile may get lost or hurt, but he'll never lose his passion, because the amount of love that man carries in his heart is honestly ridiculous. Maro may not fully understand where it comes from, but he's incredibly proud of how far Cecile has come despite growing up so sheltered
