hey im audrey/felix/whatever and im remaking my discourse blog for like the 4th time lol

most of this is in my desc already but i think transmed, terfs and cishets that invade lgbt spaces should choke on glass!

i have mixed feelings about pansexuality and though the label does have some very transphobic and biphobic origins im okay with trans people using the label IF they are aware of its ugly origins. that being said, i dont think cis people should use the label at all.

uhh i already said im an exclusionist so i guess thats it! i fucking hate acecourse culture but my friend wanted me to (re)make this blog so promo me anyway!

asexuals will scream and cry that people call them weird for being asexual or will make fun of them for not wanting sex and call it oppression, but that’s nowhere close to what oppression actually is. a cishet asexual has the right to marriage, employment, and basic respect from the people around them. that was never and will never be taken away from them. no one gives a shit if you dont want sex, and no one should know about that besides your partner anyway.

asexuals claim they’re lgbt, call everyone in the community q***r, tried to steal terms from lgbt people (ex.: corrective r*pe from lesbians and the d + f slurs), tell literal children that they must be asexual, and specifically target lesbians in harassment and even went as far as to say lesbians shouldn’t be included in lgbt anymore. they say they’re just as, if not more, oppressed than any other lgbt person and the fact is they’re wrong. i believe asexual is a valid identity and i will not deny that there is some sort of stigma attached to it, but they’re not lgbt and have never faced anything nearly as horrific as the oppression we have.

When a trans/nb person says they hate cis people, you understand.

When a POC says they hate white people, you understand.

When a woman/lesbian say they hate men, you understand.

You getting mad or trying to say ‘not all [BLANK] are like that’ at any of these groups trying to express their frustration (or even joke about it) makes you seem ignorant to the constant bigotry they have to go through every day unlike you.

the LGBT community is not an actual organized community so much as it is a group of people with something in common. the LGBT community has never had a “motto”; it isn’t a company or a club, just like black people don’t have a “motto” and neither do women.

i know older trans people – including trans women – who have always hated usage of the word queer. yes, i agree, terfs have co-opted this movement, and that’s awful, but just because terfs are saying something doesn’t make it bad. they also want to destroy rape culture. do you think that’s a bad thing?

what a highly elitist, bourgeois group of schools think they should call the sociological subsection of the way LGBT folks identify shouldn’t negate real people who exist in the millions who have horrible associations with the word.

the full acronym is lgbt (if you’re being extremely generous you could add p and n but in my opinion they’re already covered by the b and t, respectively)

i’m cis & i’m not really comfortable with involving myself in trans discourse so please don’t ask me about it

i’m always willing to explain my point of view to others in a respectful manner (same goes w/ debating)

so there is a new tag on twitter and it’s making me absolutely angry

not only does it not make sense because ”trans” doesn’t look like anything specific- transgenders/transsexuals just look like people- but it also makes all trans people look bad.

it’s full of non-dysphorics who claim that they represent us and that this is what we all look like.

it’s just gonna strengthen the popular assumption that we are all just a bunch of emo kids who “”decide to be trans”” as a sign of rebellion and not because we have dysphoria

To who, cis people? Cuz i hate to break it to you but cis people dont care about whos a “trender” or not. If a cis person is a transphobe, they dont care if you wear makeup with a tits-out look, or if you’re 6 years on HRT and 100% gender conforming. They’ll think youre a freak anyway. Thats how transphobia is.

And to say that “weird” trans people are responsible for transphobia is straight up victim blaming. So like, stop.

You have no idea whether these people are dysphoric or not unless theyve told you. Maybe some of these people arent dysphoric about wearing make up, or about their chest, but dysphoric about other shit.

Someone saying “im trans and i look like this” doesnt mean “im trans and i look like this and i think all trans people look like me”. Trust me, that level of self-centrism is only attainable by transmeds

Literally none of us are saying you ‘decide to be trans’. None of us. Saying you dont need to be in great distress to be transgender isnt the same as saying “its a choice”. I dont know how so many of y’all misunderstood that.
