  “SO YOU FIND fun by having sex in the hallway?” Wilhelm asked and raised a brow towards the other. “It’s disgusting if you ask me.”

  “AS LONG AS you and him aren’t married yet, I won’t keep my mouth shut.”

  “LOOKS CAN BE deceiving. For all I know, you could be a transgender.”

“Well I mean I’d much prefer to keep my dick, thanks.”

  “GREAT. SO WILL you be willing to listen to me?”

  “FOR ALL I know, the reason why I’m here is to be protected. Whether I have a shitty attitude or not, their job is to keep me safe.”

  SURE, THE KING wasn’t stupid. He knew what was going on and why Bella was acting strangely. Did she know? Why was he even trying to apologize knowing that she would merely despise him if she truly found out that they didn’t really love each other? And as if his conscience finally knock on his senses, he felt the desire to win back her trust. “Wait, what?” The King asked as he grabbed hold of her arm, trying to prevent her from leaving. “But I want to take care of you.” The words came out of his mouth as a shock. But for the first time, it was the only truth that he said. “Please, let me.”

  HE WAS SLIGHTLY offended that she didn’t need his roses. Apologizing to someone and making them to feel a little bit better was quite harder than he expected it to be. He thought that a simple flower would suffice. But no. Women always wanted something more than a flower. “Then what do you need?” He asked, his tone was flat at the disapointment. “I’ve been working through my phone.” It was true though. He received endless calls the other day and yesterday, working even though he’s far away from home.

    “AND SEEING THAT you’re merely a guardian, you have no place to talk to me like that.”

   “IS THERE A difference between wasabi peas to wasabi? Second, who in their right mind would do that anyway?”

   “IF THAT’S WHAT you think, then I won’t force it.” Wilhelm took a step forward and stroked her cheeks gently. His blue hues locked against her green pairs. “My soulmate needs the love she deserves. This rose is only the beginning.” The King had to do what he should do. If he was going to play the part, then he might as well do it right. Wil pressed his lips against her forehead before he pulled away.

  “IT’S FROM ME…” He muttered, his gaze avoiding her green pairs. “Sorry. I hope that you find in your heart to forgive me.”

   “SEEMS LIKE YOU two can’t get a room. I suggest that you do or else I will report this mishap.”

“Someone left roses at my door. Did you do that?” 

   “WELL, OF COURSE, love. Who elese do you expect to give you that bouquet?”

           As the King showed himself, Joanna had to master everything she’d learned in order not to let her shock show. “Your Highness,” she addressed him, despite the gun that was pointed at him. What mattered was what the King was trying to do, which was quite obvious: He wanted to sneak out of the castle. The guardian evaluated the situation and, at last, lowered her gun. “Please,” she jerked her head towards the door of the castle. “Come inside.”

   WILHELM WAS BEYOND pissed for not letting him pass through the gate. He should’ve planned things out and escaped where there’s no guardian. They should have let him go since he could pretty much take care of himself. “No. I need to pass.” He ignored what she said and walked towards her, pretty much aware that the gun’s pointed at him. “What are you going to do? Shoot a King?”
