Blue laughs at her reaction. It was a common one. âI think peppermint is worse. Can you imagine the heartbreak I felt when I had my first candy-cane and it sent me to the hospital?â She struggles to keep her smile from fading when she hears that name. âOh, shit. Hart owns this place? I shouldâve known. The dude owns like half of the city at this point.â She contemplates leaving then. Blue had always had a longstanding disdain towards Aaron Hart. Would it make her feel any better to let her personal grievances with the man get in the way of just one more drink? Sheâd feel bad about it tomorrow, but for right now she needs alcohol. âI really hate to give him any more of my money, but I will order a Kamikaze if you donât tell anyone that iâm a sellout.â
âI wouldnât be surprised if Mr. Hart took over the whole fuckinâ world,â Jo chuckled. She knew just how extra and ambitious the man was, but she still considered him one of her good friends. He wasnât everybodyâs cup of tea but she liked to think that their friendship was a good balance. The brunette wondered if Blue knew him personally or not and if she actually liked him. âIâll get you a Kamikaze in just a second,â she nodded her head, reaching for the ingredients to make the drink for her customer.Â
