ℋ — The last time he'd thrown cream at a guest, the land had spun into disaster. Hatter's temptation to throw the dish landed a small, rickety catapult by his side. "That won't do," and it disappeared back into the brush with a sigh. Hatter set up his own tea, finding another cup in another pocket. Three lumps of sugar plopped into the cup just as it was beginning to swirl a lighter color.

Oh today was a lazy day, leaving him lounging about in idle feline form atop a tree. ℋ — "Ches," Almost to spite him, a sharply whistling kettle shimmered into being beside him. Hatter pulled a tea cup from his pocket and set it down for the cat. "Cream and sugar." He murmured, absently patting at his pockets and then sighing as he found the small dishes. "I haven't seen you in a long time."

ℋ — A small blip in a whirlwind of larger ones. He was off his head, and he knew it. Hadn't there once been a saying? One of the Alice's whispered it to him. If you think you are mad, you must not be, for mad people do not have their heads. But where was his head? Perhaps the fae used it in their kicking game. That would make sense of the pain. Sense. Nothing made sense here. Here knew only madness. Here was only the hatter, properly off his head.

"Have you the time?" Hatter glared at the softly shining face of his silver pocket watch. He shook it, reasonably upset with it for it’s silence. "It is time. Time now and then. Time not for tomorrow but for yesterday. Time," Hatter murmured, tucking the watch away into one of his many small pockets. A whirlwind had begun around him, tossing his hair to a different side from where it usually sat. besides the wind, everything was strangely silent. Strangely. Like the hatter had any concept of normal things. Strangely.

"So.. Halloween is coming up."

Isabelle glanced around the caves. She smiled as her eyes scanned the walls and ceiling. She didn’t really question the clouds. The demigod looked down at her feet to see the crystals embedded in the ground. “It’s beautiful.” The brunette replied, looking at him with a smile.

"My favorite place in all of wonderland," The hatter agreed, moving further into the caves. He let his fingers graze over the sharp crystals, grinning when the prick of blood was absorbed into the wall. The ground ahead of him dropped into a staircase of sorts. "Always give to the land what you take," He murmured, bringing his bleeding finger to his lips. Gesturing for Isabelle to follow, the hatter began down the steps.

"Sounds wonderful." Isabelle smiled, following him down toward the river. She flinched a little when the forest turned into a rocky path. The daughter of Hades tried not to stumble over herself and quickly regained her balance. She brushed a few hanging vines away from her as they went into the cave.

Jagged crystals protruded from the ceiling of the cave. Lonesome clouds hung in the slightly damp air. The hatter had never questioned the clouds' presence, but had always quietly accepted them. They were what caused the soft glow all about the caves. Reflected off of every facet were rainbow prisms that met in the middle of the cave. The floor and walls glittered and glowed with each passing breeze. "You should see them at night," The hatter marveled again at its beauty.

"There are waterfalls, crystal caves, the babbling brook, and- Oh! We could visit the caves." The hatter nodded, quickening his pace. He didn't flinch when the forest in front of them wavered and warped into a rocky path. The fae flitted around their heads as the hatter lead Isabelle down by the stream. "Just in there," He murmured, pushing through the hanging vines.
