           “You would be wise to watch your temper on the matter. Nobody was ousting you , I for one can see you two are still good friends despite it meaning you’re a good man or can be a good man. That’s all that I care about in my book. Please….don’t change my mind. I was only here to back you up not put a knife in your back like you’re acting.” Well this seemed to all go sideways really really fast. Why were people like this?

☄️ Oh glob…. Finn couldn’t understand why Ice King would show up to give him a bag of snacks and then go out of his way to angrily leave as soon as possible. That is, unless he was offended by something. So yeah, it was obvious.

She’s just laying in bed, waiting for IK to finish getting ready and come join her, but boy h ow d y is there a lotta nervous energy coming off of her. He probably can tell that she’s got something on her mind and just isn’t sure how to say it…

“S-so, uhm… I-I’ve been thinkin’…”

Oh no..She seemed to be in that mood.

☄️ Finn’s expression lights up upon seeing the treats, though it quickly fades back into a frown when he glances back up at Ice King.

“Oh… d’you need any help with stuff? I’m not really doing anything right now.” 🌼

“No. It’s cool.” Oops, was that too obvious?

“I was also talking about Finn…and you don’t see him coming in, telling me not to talk about him.”

“I’m not dragging you into anything. I wasn’t even talking to you.”

“I tried to overthrow my dad once. It was my biggest regret. I attempted violent takeover…so does that make me a forever bad guy? So if you want to judge the Ice King about how he nearly let Finn die over an ice statue…why don’t you come and judge me, too?”

“Not everything’s a threat. Besides that’s the thing…even if you didn’t want help, someone is going to help you regardless. Those grey faces were so quick to judge you for what you did. Val was just pointing out that just because someone did something bad previously, that doesn’t make them a forever bad person.”
