He doesn't believe Evan for a second. But he makes no comment as he takes an old, folded up paper from his sash with the sketch of a man on it.
"His name is Lorenzo Parfait - yes like the dessert - gambler, in his thirties. His family is rich, but he's an entitled snake so he does 'commonfolk work' to seek thrills. Last I knew of him he was in Cirie, not Bellows. I need to know where he resides, what places he visits often, and if there are guards and staff around the house."
It was clear that for Dani, this was a murder thing.
He takes the paper, holding it as he tilts his head ever so slightly. Despite his nonchalant expression, he was absorbing all the information given to him.
“You’re going to get me in trouble Master Dani.” He muses, seeming to count something with his fingers before he draws a few shapes on his leg as he begins to think. “You’re also asking me to go beyond my normal scope..”
“How fun~! Convince the captain to dock in Cirie for a night and I’ll have everything for you by morning if he still resides there. If not, I shall know where he has gone.”
"I believe you to be skilful enough, no?" Dani's used to these kind of deals, and now he's just playing along with Evan - even as a good liar, that much would be obvious for anyone.
He takes the paper back and puts it back in his sash. before adjusting his clothes a bit. He then takes out a signet ring, tossing it over to Evan. "And that's his family's crest. Once you're done you can do whatever you want with the ring. Throw it out, sell it, melt it. I won't need it."
"I'll convince the capt'n to get a route through Cirie and we'll stay there for a night, that is easy enough. As soon as you're done, come and find me even if I'm asleep. I'd rather get everything done so we don't have to come back later."
“Rest assured you’d find no one better.” Evan laughs gently before his hand snaps up, capturing the ring. He eyes it for a moment, brow twitching. He wasn’t one for trophies, but he’d accept it for now.
“I’ll be sure to wake you with enough time to attend your business. I want nothing to do with it however. This is already closer than I enjoy, so do not ask for anything beyond what you have.” He tosses the ring up into the air and it would disappear down his sleeve. “Now if you excuse me, my darling should be getting off work soon and I really must accompany her home.”
