heartache can be brutal and it truly feels like a variation of grieving.

I think most of the times no words can remedy how we feel, so I rather just sit in it, and feel it all. day in, day out. someday my chest will begin to feel less heavy.

I remind myself, “Stay with those that want to stay, and stop longing for someone that doesn’t.”

I catch my own mind wandering about what ifs, to the point where it becomes torture to myself. Then I remember to lead it back to a loving place. People are clumsy and selfish. Everyone. Including myself is just winging it, doing their best. So don’t take things too personally kid, or you’ll rot from disappointment.

don’t forget that just like you’re on your own path and have your own happiness, that person does too. if you love her, send her light, be happy for her and wish her the best. bigger loves and better things are coming your way, just be a little patient.

shit happens, and eventually everything will be alright.

Years from now, a different ache will arise making this one minuscule. Or perhaps this darkness will be eclipsed by overwhelming joy.

If you flip the coin, you’re one of the lucky ones kid. Some people don’t ever get to feel this much. You’re alive.So whatever comes, don’t forget this pain, for it represents the love you hold. Go on kid, devour this year. The chilean sun is shining this morning in Rupa Nui, and so does your soul.”
