“Hello, my King~ What brings you to my temple this day?” 

“Oh wise one. I arrived here to ensure all is settling well. I already see the peace is returning to the lands as we speak.”

“You eat radiation? That explains the glow, pretty neat.” Smiles. “Well if there’s anything else I can get you let me know. How are you feeling?” Sitting down before the female moth, Matthew was still amazed by her sheer size and beauty. “When will you be taking off? Not that I don’t want you to stay but.. you said you’re resting right?”

Wandering over to where he last found her, Matthew beamed to find she was still there. “You’re here, I was sure you might have left. Good morning, I’m not sure what you eat but I can provide you food if you tell me.” Smiling he wanted to help her however he could, make this easy for her. 

“I simply wished to see you again.”

Watching her relax Matthew got the feeling she wanted to sleep. “I should go but, my home is very close by. Its a small neighborhood really, if you need me you can I guess light up a bit. I’ll be there quick as I can, it is pretty late so I don’t think anyone else would be up.” Rubs the back of his neck. “I’ll leave you to it then.” 

Morning would find her awake and energized. Mothra remained where she lay, and gave a pulse of light. Hopefully Matthew could still see her light during the day like this...

Watching her light up dimly Matthew was rather amazed by her pulsing glows. “Do the others light up as you do as well?” Chuckling with a small nod the young man smiled. “Well I’m not exactly human, I mean I am.. but not in the way others would think. I’m sure anyone else would probably panic at the very sight of you with out much thought.” 

Not too happy with the response he sighed but nodded slowly. “Yeah its fine, you’re rather beautiful by the way. I’ve never seen a moth glow the way you do.” Pauses. “How is it you’re able to glow actually?” Seeing her antennae reach him, Matthew pulled back a little unsure about it a moment but stopped and let her touch however she wanted. He was tense, this was odd, felt odd as he found himself pulling away again. “I’m sorry.. this is all strange and new to me.”

Nodding with a small sigh of relief Matthew relaxed after her words. “Thank you, so I take it you came here because there’s less people. You dropped rather close to a small neighborhood, but everyone should be sleeping at this hour. Don’t worry.” Smiles. “Your light is what gave you away for me, best to dim it down if you can control it.” Looking up at the sky a moment the young man hummed. “Are you still in this.. I guess battle?” 

Her words were almost foreign to him but he understood enough. “Nice to meet you as well.” Giving her a nod he relaxed some. “The name is familiar but I never thought too much of it. A legend at most, myth. Its all real then?” Pauses a moment. “Are you alone here, or are there more nearby with you?” Worried for his people now, unsure what was going on and why she was here. If she was resting it must have been for a reason.

Backing up a bit, Matt sat on a large rock still facing her. “If there is anything I can do please let me know.” She was beautiful, he was glad whatever this large creature was, they were friendly. Giving a small smile at what she noticed about him. “I’m Matthew, what may I call you?” Nods as he looked back a moment to the direction of his home before facing her again. “I’m life is bound to the land.. I am it as it is me. How are you able to tell this about me?” 

Stares at her almost looking off as she seemed to speak through mind. “Huh.. so there are others like you.. Some friendly I presume and others not so much.” Silent for a moment he moved closer slowly. “Are you hurt or simply resting.. Can I do anything to help if you are meant to keep us safe.” 

“You are not like other humans. There is more to you.” Her head tilted in the other direction. Chirping again. “Who are you, and why do I sense such a strong tie between you and this land?”

Blinking as she brushed her antenna against him, he stepped back but the small touch was enough to feel what she wanted to convey. “You won’t hurt me then..” Sighing he moved forward slowly. She looked hurt but there didn’t seem to be any injury he could see. “You’re here to protect us.. Can I be of any help?” Frowns a bit unsure what she was protecting them from. 

Mothra spoke softly. Gently. So as not to frighten the man. She sent more feelings of calm. She wanted him to understand that absolutely no harm would come from her. None whatsoever.
