like the backstory helps us grasp her aversion to humans, since she's mostly seen their bad side, Lisa episode was fantastic overall it conveyed her desperation and the reason for her misanthropy very well

also I love the relationship with Kota it's was genuinely one of my favorite parts of the episode I really like this character now and I’m SO glad it didn’t die 😭

(btw I’m using “it” because Kota’s gender isn’t clear in the Japanese version)

and again Lara seemingly making the same mistake as before when Lisa has suffered for decades to see her family restored it's brutal

They're ace (and trans—Kota goes by "it" but come on, they both give the vibes and let's not start with how they take shots of the potion together to keep their forms and yeah keep living but YOU GET IT).

Speaking of Kota, LISA GAVE IT THIS NAME AFTER BECOMING HUMANS, BASICALLY SAYING "you're my responsibility now and I won't leave you alone" while Kota's "My lady"/"Lisa sama" surely is an endearment, not just a call of admiration and respect.

They're both sickeningly devoted to each other and admire each other so much (KOTA IS LITERALLY REFERRED BY LISA AS HER LIGHT HELLO).

Oh, and Kota was NEVER the pet, you fools (like you can see them as childhood friends and then as princess and her servant but a pet?! Just because it is a fish?! They're both fishes!)! Kota is that freaky weirdo underdog that the princess took under her wing and since then it became her best friend and loyal knight and her champion.
