"The last two days have been...eventful to say the least. We were attacked while on our way to the City of Keys by a group of memory thieves. They took our pilot, Elizabeth, and ran off. Luckily between the two of them, Captain Holloway and Rosemary were able to mostly successfully drive the Kinetopede and chase after them. That is not an experience I'd like to repeat, though. There was a lot of arguing and sudden lurching movements. Owlboy almost got launched out of the Kinetopede while keeping watch. Eventually we managed to find the thieves again (their Kinetopede was heavily damaged, so they didn't make it far), take Elizabeth back, and finish them off. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get her memories back. They seem to have taken a lot of memories- more than they usually do, according to Owlboy. He said they usually only take one or two. I don't know how he knows this, but I know better than to ask. Dr. Gallows and Captain Holloway have been talking to her now that she has recovered a bit, trying to gauge just how much of her memory was taken. She doesn't seem to remember us very well. She seems to have realized this was upsetting us, however, and is trying to make it seem better than it is. She's still the same, not wanting us to worry. Sometimes I think Elizabeth is too nice for her own good. In light of this, I'm going to start keeping more in-depth records, in this sort of style. That way of something like this happens again, their memories may live on in the records. I don't know how many of the others read my records, but I think they may come in handy.
