You know if you really think about it, it was really fortunate that Kabuto didn't opt to give Chiyo the Madara Treatmentā¢ when he brought her back with Edo Tensei.
Like it's easy to forget because she's from early Shippuden and her Edo Tensei self has very few scenes but in her youth she was strong enough to tangle with Tsunade and Hanzo multiple times and not only survived that but managed to make it all the way to old age.
Heck even as an old woman she was still skilled enough to use the Ten Puppets and fight Sasori alongside Sakura, not only that but she must have been a Taijutsu expert considering that as an elderly lady she mistakes Kakashi for his father, the infamous White Fang, and her first thought is to throw hands.
A young Chiyo with the experience and skills of her elderly self and the usual benefits of Edo Tensei would be a terrifying monster, extra points if Kabuto had recovered the parent puppets for her to use.

Becoming more actively engaged with the lgbt community has helped me in many ways. The biggest however is helping me make my straight friends realize when they said something unfathomably stupid about gays and lesbians.
You know, its not something that happens often but a demographic of people getting so attached to a piece of media or character from said piece of media and being shocked when people outside that demographic also likes it/them is always funny to me.
You know its something that should be pretty obvious but somehow I don't see more people talking about it, maybe I just need to look more idk, but people in the AA fandom very rarely bring up how the Fey women are the crux of the OG trilogy.
Spoilers below for the Phoenix Wright Trilogy (AA1 to T&T)
Like straight up, Phoenix maybe the protagonist but the struggles, triumphs and tragedies of the Fey clan are the thing that shape the overall narrative the most especially once we hit T&T.
From the profound bond between him and Maya, the will and principles he inherited from Mia, the paternal role he takes with Pearl, the hurt he suffered at Dahlia's hands, the affection and belief he holds towards Iris even the empathy he shows towards Misty.
From start to finish the path Phoenix takes and MANY of the crucial plot points and deep emotional beats of the story in the og trilogy are centered on its female cast and the women of this family in particular.
Thats not to say other female characters aren't memorable or important, Oldbag may have been flandarized later on but in AA1 she was genuinely complex beneath her bit and of course Franziska is the best.
But the Fey women in many ways helped shaped the direction the story took all the way from Misty gaining the position of Master over Morgan and her channeling of Gregory allllll the way to the two plots at Hazakura temple both centering around Maya and both motivated by their respective masterminds connection to another fey woman (Misty and Mia respectively).
Even before Phoenix ever had Maya as his co-managar, even before he studied under Mia, even before he became entagled with Dahlia and Iris. The Fey clan had already become inextricably connected to him by virtue of their role in DL-6 and consequently of the decision Phoenix would make later down the line to reach out to Miles.
People sometimes say the women of Ace Attorney aren't important or try to diminish their importance compared to others (usually Miles, sorry man I love you but discussion dies when you're involved) but honestly I'd say besides Phoenix himself the women of Ace Attorney (Especially Maya) are some of the better written parts of the narrative. Are there problems in their writing ? Duh obviously, Dahlia in particular stands out on that front, but I feel it doesn't diminish from their overall importance and how they as individuals have all become iconic and memorable characters who have their own strengths, flaws, quirks and much more.
Maya alone leaves a lot of female characters in the dust with her characterization of being someone who's very emotionally mature but doesn't allow that to stop her from being goofy and upbeat. She can be strong when she needs to but eventually allows herself to relax around the people she's close to (Particularly Nick and Pearly).
And thats what I particularly like about the Fey women. They're people, it would have been incredibly easy to just write them as plot devices (and if you believe certain people they are nothing more than that) but they're not, they're actual people with bits and pieces of their personalities we see across the games and through different interactions as well as from what others tell us.

Well letās start with the reason for this postā¦the reason is called Capcom and Arc System Works and the games theyāve been making recently, games that re-ignited my passion for fighting games that for a long time just kinda poofed out of existence due to lack of playing.
Well these games especially DBZ FighterZ and MVCI have made me wonder how certain characters from other franchises would fare in a fighting setting, this train of thought inevetably led me to wonder the following:
āHow Would SoulsBorne Protags act as Guest Characters in Video Games ?ā
By Guest Character I especifically mean like Link being in Soul Calibur, the Spartan in Dead or Alive andĀ well far too many example for me to be bothered to write down here.
So first we have to decide which franchise would they would be the most fitting to go to, well most of the ones that areĀ āFists Onlyā are pretty much a no-no since although they can fight barehanded (as the people who cleared the games using only their fists can prove) they are much more efficient with their weaponry.
Next would be their style of play, I personally think it depends on which Main Character they use, if itās the Ashen One (since heās the most recent one in the Souls side of the series) then a Turtler (defense focused) or a Punisher (focused on destroying the opponentās HP when they make mistakes) since these fit well with the style of play the game they hail from is focused on.
As for the Good Hunter he would most certainly be a rushdown character (one who focuses on SUPER Agressive fights) or funny enough a Stance character (one whose fighting style depends on their current Mode or Stance) this is due both the mechanics regarding continuous attacks and of course Trick Weapon which would be a nightmare to fight.
The hardest aspect however would be their designs and weaponry since the Soulsborne games areĀ very Very much about being able to create and customize your very own characters not only in appeareance but also in fighting style ranging from small and fast weapons that donāt do much damage in single hits but are a nightmare in succession to large but slower weapons that deal copious amounts of damage in single hits.
Also their themes cause everyone knows the music is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECTS in a fighting game and you would have to take in consideration the music styles of both the Fighting Game and their Original Games, alongside that would be if they decided to include a stage it would either have to be one from the other games or one tailor made to the guest which would be quite complicated.
All in all it would be retty fun but also quite difficult to make.
This post is really freaking old, at least relatively speaking, but I would like to shout out Elden Ring for just allowing you to go full anime character down to throwing hands with martial arts. The Tarnished is literally begging to be in a fighting game be it anime fighter, 3d fighter, you name it they can probably do it.
While Apollo's eyes bug out whenever he uses his Perceive, Phoenix instead gets a brief constriction of his pupils as the world flashes in negative before the psyche-locks actually appear, while he's actively trying to break them there's a slight green sheen on his eyes.
they are barring wikipedia. they are barring spotify. they are barring important news - both national news and world news. they are barring mental health forums and LGBTQ related things and so much more. this is not about protecting children, it has never been about protecting children.
the online safety act is an insane privacy breach, and if that does not scare you then you need to think harder about it. it is going to end up in a massive data leak - all the information is getting collected by random third party systems. can we trust them? no. can we even hold them accountable? no. because the government couldnāt even make their own system to do these age checks.
and i hear you - it is important that kids donāt see porn. but even if all this was about protecting kids, itās sloppy and useless. itās easy (for now) to get around with a vpn and the only thing the act doing is censoring things that it shouldnt. if the government wanted to protect kids, they would do something concrete about it - they would be putting more funding into education, for example.
of course the policy isnt called ānational surveillanceā. theyāre not going to call it that. everything will be hidden behind things that people want.
so email your MP, and tell other people that this is WAY more than blocking porn from children - this is the first step towards national surveillance.
Imma be honest, I saw porn as a kid and I'm fine. I think most of us are fine. Honestly, at my age I barely even care for it anymore because I already saw plenty and my preferences are set. But even if I was a rampant masturbation addict with a friction burn on the ol' hammer and sickles, I'm pretty sure being exposed to porn is far less dangerous than being exposed to fascism. Ultimately, who gives a shit? The point of restricting porn to children is not out of concern for their innocent virgin souls; it's to prevent porn sites from specifically targeting them, like we do with commercials and violent video games. That doesn't require age verification, it requires regulations that cannot happen if the industry as a whole is demonised and excluded from the legal system. And I don't really give a shit about some unknown middle schooler somewhere whackering all day long to the extent that I would rather let the Orange Reich take over society.
