He quietly scoffs a little at her last remark, grateful that she had said something like that. “Oh? Just my cooking?” he finally manages to regain his voice before turning around.

Though the red still remains on his face, it isn’t as wide spread as it had been moments before.

Once he turned around she cuddled back into his chest and sighed softly, " I know you do." she said with a smile, " Let's get some sleep... I have to get up early in the morning." she said as she rested herself against him.

By now his face is completely as red as a tomato as soon as she says those words. His right hand covers his face as he can feel her close to him and he lets out a grunt.

Granted, he was still unsure if…If he should really voice out anything else. Though…

"…So…Would you…Marry me? If I…If I asked?" His voice sounds a lot quieter, afraid of the reaction to the question. If he had the chance to ask her that question. If he had prepared that moment of asking her.

Would she say yes?

She giggled softly, " Of course I would." she said as she kissed his back, " Why wouldn't I? I mean we have been through so much together I know that no one would be able to love me like you and I know I could never love anyone else like I do for you." she said softly.

" Plus your a great cook and I don't want to miss that." she joked as she laughed softly.

She watched as he released her from his grip and turned around and faced the other way. Slowly a soft smile grew as she listened to him, moving closer she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tight, " Just so you know I wouldn't mind being married to you too." she said softly.

" You don’t have to ask me for a kiss you know." Minako said with a smile as she walked over and gave Shinji a soft kiss on the cheek, " Are you heading out or something?" she asked.

"Tch…Well.."

Well he had no way of arguing that.

They were living together after all and practically all the routines they had were things a married couple had. He can only wrap his arms around her and bring her a little closer.

By now, the beating of his heart accelerated at least by her comment. He felt like it was ready to burst out of his chest as the red on his face grew.

"…Well…Yeah..But…"

He’s at a bit of a lost, flustered.

" Are you okay?" she asked, his cheeks were a light red at this point and it looked as though he was a little agitated. She giggled softly before she reached over and gently poked his red cheek. " What? You don't like the idea of getting married to me?" she teased.
