How I imagine their reunion going down. Lilith's return to hell would send Lucifer and Charlie into a frenzy, trying to perfect every detail. At first, Lucifer would be ecstatic and emotional, but his excitement would quickly turn into anxiety, causing him to vanish just before Lilith's big entrance. He might stay hidden, letting Charlie have the spotlight while he watches from the sidelines. It wouldn't be until much later, when Lilith is finally alone, that Lucifer would find the courage to face her after eight long years. Their reunion would be similar to Gatsby and Daisy's iconic encounter. Lucifer would be a wreck, overcome with emotion, whereas Lilith would be poised and a bit distant. Keeping her emotions in control.
