To all the Autistic people out there (including self-diagnosed): what labels do you prefer? And please feel free to explain why in the comments! I'm just really curious about the answers. Please don't shame/harass anyone about the labels they prefer.
Functioning labels (high-functioning, low-functioning, etc)
Levels (level 1, 2, 3)
Support labels (High support, low support, etc)
Mixture of labels (explain in comments if comfortable)

Personally, I prefer not to use labels. But I'm fine with others using it for themselves and stuff.
Edit: Yk after some thinking I feel like yeah things like support labels are deffo useful when they are not being used to put some people's needs below others - that was the main reason why I didn't like it, but I think if used well instead of as "well you're low-support so you should be able to do that", they are actually good tools.

growing up as a trans teen is one of the worst things because i will never have a normal childhood, if my parents don't support me they can hide me. my yearbooks and my first drivers license and my permission slips and my attendance record and my graduation walk won't be about me.
