Here she is!! Fancy new kiln...is it a she or a he..? Maybe I should give it a name...or is that just weird? First firing is well underway but I’ve messed it up somehow and it’s not reaching temperature....I’ve tried to read the manual...honestly, I really have... my eyes go all swirly whirly after one sentence. I’ll get the hang of it at some point I’m sure 😬

It’s not been a swanky schmancy valentines but I’ve been giving my little shed-workshop some much needed love today....I haven’t worked in there in a while and in my absence mold has taken up residence! I’ve scrubbed the walls, had a general tidy up and finally fired up my new kiln, wooyeah! That should help to warm it up and send the damp back outside where it belongs! #springclean #shedlove

A whole year has flown by since my dear old pops died...we marked the milestone on a sunny, frosty day by planting a tree and some spring bulbs in his memory....whilst wearing one of his many hats!

Each ceramic pendant is hand rolled, cut, painted and pierced before firing in the kiln. It’s a long process but I love how the colours and textures have come out on this piece. This half moon pendant is on a hand cut soft brown leather strap and sits perfectly below the collar bone. This one is £35 plus p&p....dm me if you’d like it for yourself or a lucky friend!
