The SCP Foundation contains itself ALL THE TIME.

Sometimes this is literal. Alternate universe versions of the Foundation, like the Shark Punching Center, the Three Moons Initiative, the Compendium of SCP-6001, the "Little Foundation" of SCP-6011, the Sandwich Police of SCP-4052, and the IIPES of the Third Antarctic Empire.

Sometimes this is more metaphoric. The containment of the freedoms of employees, the restriction of information, the careful distribution of authority to prevent the possibility of secession. All the ways the institutional culture stifles the soul.

But often times, it's in between. And by that, I mean that when the right hand knoweth not what the left hand does, it's probably going to grab the left hand now and again. And the Foundation tries very hard to keep its hands seperate.

The amount of secret projects going on in the Foundation is truly staggering. As is the number of black books departments, units, sites, and entire chains of command. Think of how many anomalous items are produced and escape the facility in extended testing logs like 914's. Think of the article for SCP-2000, where the Foundation discovers something it has no memory of building anywhere in its archives. Think of the fact that anomalous memes are capable of mutation and are also intentionally created and circulated internally by groups like RAISA and counter conceptuals for a number of reasons.

See the indominable sapient spirit! The Foundation tells you. Rising up to uphold the self evident natural order! Taking the essential mission of containment! How joyous, to be connected with the likeminded through time and space!

Meanwhile, the Foundation on some level hates versions of itself that are degenerate from the goal. The Three Moons Initiative, the Shark Punching Center, the Compendium of 6001: as a baseline, it feels suspicion and contempt. You have given up on the mission. You don't respect containment. How could you? How could you betray us for a different way?

Fate may be cruel, but at least we are together again.

Wanted to add an artist's notes section because there's a lot of details that I feel may be missed at a glance.

The page that Henry's fate was on is ripped along the edge while the page with James's is cleanly ripped off.

I felt like it would be tragic if Henry passed away at the same age James was at his death.

Henry's fate is updated across versions.

Some pieces of the ripped paper form a heart in the empty space and a broken heart, with the latter being next to the pages with the fates of the two. Keep the left one in mind for the next one.

Henry's shadow is present in the first version but vanishes in the second. This also happens to be where the strips forming the heart is as the two have reunited in death.

Henry brings roses to James's grave. A romantic gift to his dead partner.

It is meant to be assumed that one of the other survivors bring the bouquet of flowers to Henry's grave, this time with white flowers to mourn over his death.
