big big part of what makes tbp such a standout depression album is that it nails the part where you get really fucking mean

(me on a different blog) I know everyone says this about their favorite mainstream sellout band but on some level I do still think it’s admirable how my chem doesn’t shy away from like. ugly scary alienating types of crazy. like yeah this song is about when I hallucinated people I love going up in flames. this one’s essentially 4 minutes of bitter suicide threats in a desperate bid for attention. I was hoping somebody would try to hurt me so I could kill them. etc
