I just rewatched and fell in love with them.

If I have to sell it to you, kidgers, I'd say that it's basically the same ship with different people... Like same tropes. Same height difference. The only real difference is the story, and basically just the characters that behave slightly differently. But I find many similarities between the two ships!!! It's like a new version of Kidge. (Or lapidot tbh... Which is the ship I was in love with before kidge! Yeah I have a type. Grumpy emo/tall and more confident person x nerdy short that looks cuteyy person... Same with my ship BxB form fhs 😭 okay bye)

As for the recent poll I made for a Kidge event, I'll try to get something ready for spring, because Christmas seems too late, sorry 😔 at least that will changer from the summer and fall event I previously made.

I would have done a kidge event buuuut... I literally have no time lately... I can still give quotes if some of you are interested in an event, but I don't even think I'd be able to participate myself 😔

I woke up this morning and remembered it’s October… and then I was like, “wait, Keith’s birthday is in October!” But I’d forgotten the exact date, so I looked it up — and it’s today!

I don’t have any fics to gift you guys right now (maybe I’ll write one later), but I’ve got a lot of work to do today.)

“hey...,” Pidge called over, hiding her grin behind her cup of soda, “I think that’s enough.”

Keith looked at the bottle in his hand, squinting like it was some complicated math problem. “It’s juice.”

“That’s vodka, Keith.”

He blinked, considered it, then shrugged and poured himself half a cup anyway. “Tastes like bad juice.”

Pidge snorted. “That’s kind of the point.”

When he sat next to her, his shoulder bumped hers... His usual rigid posture had melted away, replaced by an adorably relaxed, almost puppy-like grin.

“You’re so small,” he muttered, resting his head on her shoulder.

Pidge froze, then laughed. “You’ve known me for years, Keith. This can’t be news.”

“No, but, like—” he leaned back to look at her. “You’re small but strong. Compact power. Like… like a really cute grenade.”

Pidge nearly spit out her drink. “..... a what now....”

I have free time and will try to finish my fic "the weight of what is left"! the only problem is that I lost all my brainstornming for that fic :')

Because I don't really have time to write, finish my projects, and do all the things I want to do... I have many important exams this year, my weekends are often full... Sooo, yeahhh, I'll be back for more kidge, but not for now unfortunately 😔

Pidge: Oh, so many. Honestly, the reactions were hilarious. My family was a little skeptical at first, mostly because Keith is older. I mean, we only started dating when I turned 20, but he was already 25, so... yeah. That age gap kind of made them blink.

But once they saw how we worked together, how much he cared about me, they came around real fast. Now he's basically an honorary Holt.

My mom? She started knitting him Christmas sweaters and gets all smiley when I bring him home. My dad calls him “son” and even took him fishing a few times.

Keith: Your mom’s really serious about those sweaters...

Pidge: She is... She even collects photos of us and keeps them in a “wedding album.” Her words, not mine.

Oh, and Matt, he was super skeptical at first. You know, classic overprotective older sibling energy. But now? They literally go to the gym together. Once, at a party, Matt got drunk and threw an arm around Keith’s shoulder, gave this big emotional speech like, “I’m glad you’re my brother, man.”

I recorded it. Obviously.

Keith: Yeah... I remember.

Pidge: As you should.

Keith: Your family’s amazing, honestly. I didn’t expect to feel so... welcomed.

As for my family, my mom hugged Pidge the moment she learned about us. Like, full on picked her up and everything. Then she said she already knew I had feelings for her, even though I’d never told anyone. And then she told Pidge to call her “mom.”

Pidge: It was so sweet!!

Keith: It was embarrassing.

Pidge: Keith, it was adorable. Accept the love.

Keith: ...Whatever you say, Kate’.

Pidge: As for our friends... okay, Lance didn’t see it coming. At all. His reaction was priceless. He made us sit down and gave us an actual questionnaire because apparently, he’s a “love expert” and always knows when people are gonna end up together.

Keith: He was so confused. Then he got all sentimental. Told me to treat Katie right, gave her a huge hug, then handed us drinks... and then said, “Wait. Are you sure you’re not pregnant? Because with you two? Anything’s possible.”

I just facepalmed.

Pidge: I cried laughing. Honestly, it was a very Lance reaction.

Keith: Hunk was a lot calmer. He said he kind of always suspected something was going on between us... And then he got emotional. You could see it hit him how happy he was for us.

Pidge: Yeah, he said something like, “I knew it... and I still wasn’t ready for how cute this is.”

Keith: And Shiro... he didn’t say much. But he didn’t have to. He just smiled... That quiet, proud kind of smile, put a hand on my shoulder, and said, “I’m really happy for you two. You deserve this.”

Pidge: That meant a lot.

Keith: It did.

Pidge: And then there was Coran...

Oh my god, Coran.

He had about a million questions. “Do human courtships always begin with bickering? Do you share food? Do you bond with each other’s socks?”... classic Coran stuff.

Then he started talking about Galra traditions and asking if we ever do anything “culturally Galra” because of Keith...

Keith: I didn’t even know what that meant.

Pidge: And then he got emotional and kept saying how Allura would be happy for us.

And I quote: “You two will have a beautiful litter of children.”

A litter.
