Something we don’t really talk about on this account is that we’re a wheelchair user. And today, after four years of fighting insurance, our custom wheelchair finally got approved!!!! ⚠️Currently still in its WIP phase. The skeleton isn't even fully finished yet and is actively being worked on and changed very regularly so it looks a little messy and clunky. Please DO NOT request any labels, we have a gigantic doc full of terms. Requests made based on its current lay-out will likely result in frustration as your request will likely be present in the doc already. You CAN however make lay-out (change) requests and theme suggestions!⚠️
This carrd aims to become the biggest collection of alterhuman and alterhuman adjacent terms.
Pride is not just for those who are LGBTQIA+ but also for alterhumans, plurals, and transID users.
We have the right to celebrate our pride as much as the LGBTQIA+ community.

Toys, so many toys. Old, new, tattered, patched up, clean, dirty, and yet, all loved in their own way. Just sitting on shelves, desks, snd the floor. As if waiting for someone to find them.
You can’t help but be drawn in, your eyes fixed on one in particular. You remember it from so long ago… you missed them so much… it wouldn’t hurt would it?
Holding your new companion, you walk up the stairs. They creek and groan as you go. But you were far too focused on the various drawings on the walls. Some were just wild finger paintings, while’s others were quite intricate.
So many stories in one place.
Looking down the hall, you found yourself greeted with a single door at the very end. It was plane black. Unlike the rest of the building. It stood out. As if needing to be noticed.
You walked towards it.
The hallway felt longer, it made you feel smaller, and once you reached the doorknob. It was almost like you were always supposed to be there.
When the door opened, you saw them. The very figure from those same drawings.
They looked up at you, no with surprise, nor anger, nor fear. Just, kindness.
Long blonde hair like sunrays, some say it even moved on its own.
Pale porcelain skin like a doll, maybe they have hidden joints.
An usual looking face, a mask perhaps? Or a floating flower? A cloud? No, it was made of clay? It’s hard to say, everyone saw something different.
And all wrapped the softest cardigan, it flowed in the floor like water, and could easily hold another like a blanket.
“Oh goodness…” They spoke with a voice as light as air and as soothing as hot chocolate on a winter night.
They grabbed a tissue from their desk and walked over.
Though their fingers ended in claws, they didn’t scare you as they gently dabbed the tears away.
“There, there…” As they gently wrapped you in their arms and picked you up.
You’ve never felt so… safe before.
“You’ll be okay Angel… I’m here now…”
And as you were rocked in that moment, for once you truly understood the meaning of peace.
