“edvin...” july sits cross-legged on the floor, he’s dressed in traditional human undergarments such as a tank and boxer briefs. it is late at night but he has a full charge so he isn’t tired. clearly, he has been thinking on something for a while. “this might be weird for me to ask but.....how do you feel about being an AI? i’m not sure if you have feelings or not. don’t take that the wrong way. it’s just that i’m an AI and I have feelings. at least i think i do. i don’t know if i actually have feelings or if i am just programmed to think i have feelings. fuuuuck, i’m rambling. sorry. you probably have more important stuff to do.”

“------i’m not sure.” july didn’t want to submerge himself in water. even though he was certain that he was waterproof and that his insulation was sufficient enough to handle a dip in the pool, he was still somewhat anxious about it. he just hung his feet over the edge into the water. “i think i’m good. you go be michael phelps over there.” 

“My question to you is why do you think I’m either? The idea of you all just slamming your fleshy and sweaty bodies together for half an hour for entertainment is still perplexing to me.”

“this is gonna sound super weird but----” july pulled up one side of his shorts and pointed to the indention in his hip. “can you take that big plug on that generator and stick in in me? i can’t get it in for some reason. i’m feeling low on mileage.” he had ran through most of his energy by pacing through the building, believe it or not. 

“ so....” july had truthfully spent most of his time plugged up as everyone was trapped inside. he didn’t need to eat or sleep so he was probably the most bored of all. “what’s there to do around here. i’m bored out of my circuits here.” he said, on his back and legs up against the wall. “entertain me a little?” july put on his best puppy eyes.
