Today was very exciting– mail from the Lady Chiara @kichigurumi herself! The parcel arrived in the post and had the cutest rainbow bordering on the sides. I was so excited to open it. Aha! After struggling like a pit gladiator with the packaging tape, (why do I never use scissors?)I got it open– my Molly Dolly! First impression: Holy Hell this is softer than I knew yarn could be! His hair is silky soft and so comforting. The amount of love and work that went into crafting him is INSANE. The styling of the hair. The “jewellery” stitching designs on the horns. The pattern on the coat. The pattern on the pants. The detailing of the eyes. The peacock tattoo! The posable tail! The shape of the little feet…the little ears! The “open shirt”– all of these painstaking little details are so above and beyond and I love and appreciate Chiara’s skill and talent beyond measure! She was beyond sweet and kind during the process and always kept me updated with little notes and photographs of her work’s progress. This Mollymauk crossed the seas from Italy to Boston, USA and I am so happy to have him. I feel lucky and honoured to have a piece of her hard work, skill, and love! Do yourself a favor and keep an eye on her listings!

The second Tracer I made. I love how the hair tourned out this time! Do you like her?? :D

I was wondering how you do your gradient for your Tracer doll. Tracer was the first doll I made but I ended up just using one color for her body suit.

You know that yarn is usually made out of 3 twisted little tread , well then I mix 2 tread of yellow and 1 of orange in order to have a yarn half yellow and half orange. I'm sorry that I can't explain it better but it's hard doing it in a language that is not mine 😅
