Fallout 4 (#Fallout 4)

“First off, you’re amazing. Second off. How would FO:4 companions react to Sole being unnaturally lucky. Like, think that gauntlet in Nuka World but they just kinda fumble around and somehow get through unscathed.”

“Friend!Fo4 companions (+ Maxson) reacting to & dealing with a teen!Sole who has magick (like Elder Scrolls) &, instead of using it for good/evil, they use it to take the mick outta people. Literally, just to pull pranks, & get people to smile & laugh bc gods, this world is grim. They want to make people laugh in a world that's trying to drain them of all life, & they're rather good at it, too. They've made some serious people laugh b4 & they'll do it again. That's both a promise & a threat. For the previous Fo4 request; there wasn't room then I forgot after I sent in the ask, but could the it be in writing?”

“Could you do a written Fo4 react with the companions (+Maxson & Desdemona) acting accidentally parental to a young teen!Sole (think 14-16) and Sole snaps at them because they aren't their parent and they need to remember their place in Sole's life (as a leader/friend/right-hand)? The npc has repeatedly been doing this without realizing it or the affect it's been having on Sole (lots of trauma, poor kid). After Sole snaps, they leave pissed; the npc eventually finds them curled up next to their parents' cryo-pods with Shaun's pre-war teddy in Vault 111. This would be in two sections of the react: their reaction to Sole snapping, then the reaction to finding Sole. Also, I love, love, love your work. Please keep it up!”

“How would the fo4 companions (including strong) + faction leaders react to meeting the mysterious stranger? Like, he actually sticks around for a bit for once as opposed to vanishing like he always does.”

“Fo4 Male Romanced!Companions being flustered by a flirty sole? Like, maybe the companions will occasionally flirt with sole, but then they become flustered/embarrassed when they actually reciprocate”

Cait (romanced): Cait appreciates that sole is showing her affection but a girl can only handle so much before she punches you out of love embarrassment. She'll flirt back a few times, but once sole starts going over the top Cait will let her displeasure be known.

Curie (romanced): She really unsure if she wants sole to keep flirting with her or stop. She loves it, she really does, but the butterflies in her stomach just won't stop fluttering! And, no, she doesn't know how to flirt back.

John Hancock (romanced): I don't think you'll ever truly make Hancock flustered- can ghouls blush? Sole might turn him on a little a lot but, on the outside, he's as cool as a cucumber flirting right back.

MacCready (romanced): He'll flirt back as best he can, but he'll stubble over his words and his face will be as red as a tato. Mission accomplished?

Paladin Danse (romanced): His face is an impossible shade of red- really impressive that sole managed that. He can't flirt back, he's short circuiting. Please- give him a couple minutes to reboot his brain. He likes that sole flirts with him but he seriously cannot handle it.

Piper Wright (romanced): She'll laugh because she doesn't really know how to process the flirting. It's funny in her mind that she loves sole so much but can't seem to keep her words straight.

Preston Garvey (romanced): He's so red it's laughable. He really doesn't flirt back- just compliments sole. He's a little challenged in the flirting department, babe.

Porter Gage (romanced): He does flirt back- while blushing- but he tries to take things to the next level...

Cora (romanced):

She sucks at lying. When Ryder questions her, her story changes every time. She won’t admit to lying, though…please don’t call her out on it, she’ll turn the color of a tomato.

Gil (romanced):

It depends. If it’s bluffing during poker, Ryder would never know…until he loses the game. In day-to-day life, Gil always has to look away when he lies. He never lies about anything big, just small bluffs. His Ryder would probably find that funny, if anything.

Liam (romanced):

He can’t look Ryder in the face and lie. If Liam has to look away from Ryder to say something, he’s probably lying. He’ll admit it if Ryder calls him out on it.

Reyes (romanced):

Unfortunately, unless Ryder finds material evidence or someone tells them, it’s unlikely Ryder would know. A few years into their relationship, Ryder would get better at reading the queues.

Suvi (romanced):

Suvi would make it obvious that she’s lying. Seriously, there isn’t a single person who wouldn’t know she’s lying. The giggles and the fake slapping make it all too obvious.

Peebee (romanced):

Her usual jokes don’t come out. If Peebee isn’t joking around, something’s up.

Jaal (romanced):

LOL, he would never lie- especially to his Ryder.

Vetra (romanced):

Hides her face. Seriously, whole hand and everything if she’s lying to Ryder.

Ada:

“Hey, wake up! Is something wrong?”

She's not exactly gentle. She is really concerned about Sole and will wake them up very abruptly. Cait knows that Sole would do the same for her, if their roles were reversed.

Codsworth:

He misses Sole's spouse too. He wouldn't wake Sole, he'd just make their day as relaxing as possible.

Deacon:

He'd 100% wake Sole up "unintentionally." He'd bang pots and pans, throw a pillow at Sole's face and run away, or, maybe, scream and hide. He remembers going through the same thing after his wife died.

Dogmeat:

John Hancock (romanced):

Just holds Sole through the nightmare. He doesn't want to frighten them. He'll bring it up after Sole wakes up in the morning, but does so very gently. Big teddy bear vibes.

MacCready (romanced):

Doesn’t really do anything. He lost his wife, he knows what those dreams are like- but it just paralyzes him to watch Sole go through it. He wants to help, but he just can't.

Nick Valentine:

Whips up some coffee and early brunch. Time for a long chat with grandpa.

Old Longfellow:

*sleeps harder so he doesn’t have to have a touchy-feely conversation with Sole*

Paladin Danse (romanced):

Overreacts then apologizes. He really doesn't know what to do, so he just listens. He offers big bear hugs as well (10/10 hugger and listener).

Piper Wright (romanced):

Wakes Sole up but doesn't ask them about it. She'll be happy to talk or listen if Sole wants to but NEVER forces them or initiates it.

Preston Garvey (romanced):

Hugs. Lots of them.

Porter Gage (romanced):

Wakes Sole up very gently. He sits them uprights and they chat over some NukaCola (while snuggling, of course (you cannot tell me he does not like to cuddle)).
