St. Patrick's🙌🏽

On wednesday, my entire senior class was invited to St. Patrick’s Cathedral for our final senior mass. Other schools were invited and we were able to share the experience with them. Before going, I looked up pictures to see how it was. When we got there, I thought it was a haunted house. Never expected it to be that big. It looked like a haunted mansion that you see on television. When I entered, it was actually amazingly huge and looked like a queen’s palace. We sang songs, prayed and I really enjoyed this mass. Some parts of the mass were boring but everything else was fine. If you are ever in NYC, come to St.Patrick’s Cathedral!

Dancing is my passion. I love to do all kind of dances such as praise, hip hop, and and a little ballet. I have been dancing since I was 3 and I hope that one day I can perform with some of the greats like Beyonce, Rihanna, and Ciara. I danced at my old school for shows like concerts, funerals, auditions and at baby showers. I now perform mainly at other churches, inside school events and mainly outside concerts etc. I was planning on going to a performing arts high school but I punked out and came to spellman. I wish I would have attended my audition but God knew what he had planned for me. I participate in choir, dance and step at my school and I am always performing (dancing) in the hallways. I will never stop dancing. And I hope someday I am able to show off my talent to the world.

As a child, I made many friends day after day. I was never alone. Having a big personality can make you friends without even asking. I've come to realize that I need friendships in my everyday life to keep me sane. I use to think that having too many friends can be detrimental to your life. But that's only if you hang out with the wrong crowd. I have some healthy friendships now as a teenager and also some toxic ones. There are a few things a friendship needs: loyalty, support and trust. In order to have this, you must pick the right friends. Find friend who will support you, who won't talk behind your back, and who will always be honest. A good friend doesn't always come around quickly but if you wait and see God will put on in your life. When you can't go to a parent or a family member for something, that is when your friend can come in handy. They will teach you life lessons that noone else can. It is easier to share experiences and opinions with friends because we can learn. I think in order to have a good friend, you must be a good friend. And that is sometimes harder. Nevertheless, always try to keep a friend in your corner as you grow older.

I attended my school’s hundred nights dinner on friday. It was a draining day yet I still showed up. I did mot have high expectations for this this event to be a success but it was. Hundred Nights was pretty fun. I didn’t want to go because I expected spellman events to be wack and I really did not want to dress up. It had a cool photo booth, good music, great ice cream bar and was nicely decorated. I heard some good words of wisdom from teachers and prizes were also given away. Hundred Nights Dinner is the countdown of 100 days left until graduation 😝. I wore a black cape dress (pics coming soon) with black heels that got alot of compliments. I was surprised it ended quickly because they said it ended at 10 but it was still fun. Had a chance to hand out with my friends and enjoy one of the few night my whole class will spend together until graduation.

These reality shows are about familys and friends going through struggle. Whether its learning how to be a parent or how to become an artist, these shows help and inspire people in the most way.

<p>I am a television lover.🙌🏽 I watch tv everyday and reality tv shows are my favorite. Reality shows such as: Braxton Family Values, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Mary Mary, Real Housewives, Love & Hip Hop, Teen Mom; Bad Girls Club are the best. Every episode is always intriguing to watch. I never miss an episode or season. I encourage everyone who hasn’t watched it as of yet to change the channel right now to any of these shows‼️You will never change it back. It is so real and there is always action involved whether it be good or bad. If you don’t watch television then I think you should try one day. The first show you watch should be a reality tv show. I love all programs on tv. Reality, criminal and sometime even disney channel shows. My attention never focuses on something else. It always goes to the television and any shows. </p>

Who Am I ? Pt 2

Kiana, better known as Keyoncé is an aspiring dancer, singer, entertainer. I am not the type to express myself in writing but I hope starting a blog will help me. I am 16 going on 17 and have always been mature for my age. I am Caribbean-Black and my family comes from Jamaica. My passions in life are singing, dancing, and stepping. Being an entertainer and funny brings joy to my life and others everyday. I love to put smiles on people’s faces in what I do. My favorite sports are track, soccer, and basketball. I participated in two of them when I was younger. When I am older, I would like to be a lawyer or police officer. I feel that I have the knowledge and determination to be what ever I put my mind to. Music is another passion of mine and I hope to be successful in that as well. Hope you guys enjoyed who I am and would like to hear more.
