When he arrived, the thought of Caspar being the person you could love the most never passed through your head.

Of course, you liked him a lot because he was very bright-spirited, fiery, funny. He could be so dumb sometimes but it was okay because you liked that about him.

“And you’re just behind the lines telling everybody what to do? That’s so cool and so much different from what our professor does, she goes into the battlefield with us!”

“Yeah, but it’s not so great,” you reply, and then shoot your shot. “But perhaps I could join you! IF you teach me how to fight I’m sure I’ll be able to fight alongside you.”

“Whoah! You seriously mean it? I’d be more than happy teaching you some fight moves.”

The following days you meet Caspar in the training tower, where he first teaches you the basics of combat: positions, some attacks, things you need to know.

You wonder why he sometimes goes to train with you without a shirt, 

Sometimes he also gets very close to you, when he’s fixing your battle pose, or showing you how to throw a punch, you’ve thought that maybe he... well, you don’t think about it too much, you don’t want to get the wrong ideas.

But the truth is that Caspar developed strong, intense feelings for you that only grew after each day he spent with you.

“Caspar, you like the summoner, right?” Sylvain would ask him. “I saw the way you spend so much time with him, you’ve never been so eager to go training before.”

“WHAT? OFC OURSE I DON’T WHAT ARE YOU SAYING SYLVAIN GO SMOOCH A GIRL OR SOMETHING”
