The Fingerprint Padlock is a kind of new smart electronic biometric locks, it is also called as thumbprint padlock, or keyless padlock. The fingerprint padlock is upgraded based on the traditional padlocks, which with fingerprint recognition feature.

The most of the pure fingerprint padlocks in current market (2019), like Tapplock, Biolock, include a durable metal housing, built-in PCBA board, Touch ID module, USB charging port, built-in rechargeable battery. Some other fingerprint padlock also comes with many other features, like dust-resistance, splash-proof, water-proof (IP65 or IP66), LCD screen, or backup traditional keys, Bluetooth, smart phone app, operating logs.

The fingerprint padlock use the fingerprints as the keys or password, so that’s why it also called as keyless padlock, or no key lock. Usually it supports 10 or 20 users’ touch ID, includes one touch ID for administrator. The Administrator’s touch ID could delete/add users in the padlock system. Only the authorized users could access the padlock system by his/her touch ID. And it’s very convenient for those who don’t like to take a key, or who need multi-users to access the lock.

All in all, the fingerprint padlock is a new concept padlock with fingerprint technology. With its convenient features, fingerprint padlock has become more and more popular in people’s daily life.
