Two has a very strong love/hate relationship with Roxas, and it’s one that he had a significant problem verbalizing. He views Roxas as having abandoned him by ‘giving in’ to Sora (the very act that created his keyblade in the first place) but he also longs to have a relationship with him. Because of the two voices screaming in his head, his tongue and pride both prevent him from saying this and in turn he just ends up acting sullen and angry around Roxas. Still, he doesn’t want to leave him.

Obi allowed the woman to speak, as she seemed to know a bit more about this place than he did. Currently he was just a traveler in the world. Or in his case Many worlds. She seemed kind enough if a bit over enthusiastic. He breathed in as she paused. 

“If i may interrupt you Miss.” He said with a little smile. “I appreciate the welcome very much, However, i am not here for me. I’m here to help this one along the way.” He gestured to a young man, looking no more than the age of 16, a very clean face, however, a similarity between the two is a blindfold over their eyes. “He needs someone to teach him The ways of the Keyblades. I believe he is a bearer, yet to acquire his own.” 

She hummed lightly as she smiled, both a self defensive action to try to drown out the sudden hurt that was hammering in her chest. It was her own fault, truly, for daring to be-- for hoping to be-! But to be standing in front of a keyblade bearer that had yet to acquire his own keyblade, how could she truly drum away the flicker that was starting to burn in her Heart that he might be the one.

After all, the King... The King had chosen a new keyblade and it was foolish to keep on holding onto the hope that he would return for her. Sora, in turn, had Key, and in turn she was left... alone.

Character in general: Runa seems like a really interesting and fully fleshed out character! There’s way more thought and detail put into her backstory than I’ve probably put into all of my characters combined.How they play them: I can’t fully judge this since it’s an oc.The Mun: We haven’t talked much but I would be down to change that! You seem very sweet.

Character in general: it’s hard to say since you play so many! How they play them: the ones i’ve interacted with so far seem spot on, so-! The Mun: lume is really sweet! we’ve talked about a ton of different plots and i’d love to actually see where they might take our characters! sometimes it’s really overwhelming with all the different fandoms though xD

Hello dearies! I think it's time I made an official posting about this.

While I have a small queue that will last for 3-4 more days, I plan to go on hiatus from this blog for 2 weeks. I need to figure out what I want to do with it and where I see it going in the future. Rest assured, I completely intend on returning! But until I have a firm idea of how to make this place a comfortable and safe space for myself again, I can't force myself to be here.

In the meantime, you can find me on discord (Nejire's Super Powered Punches#4761). I also do have another rp blog, but the chances of anyone here knowing the fandom are so slim I find it pointless linking to it. It's an android-based classic Capcom series, if that happens to ring any bells, with a certain blond protagonist.

Character in general: honestly i feel that axel is really... lmao overrated! i feel kinda bad saying this but he seems like the ‘boba fett’ of the kh fandom; he shows up, doesn’t do too much, and then dies, and i kinda wonder if he would’ve actually been brought back if the fandom hadn’t had such an attachment to him. that being said...How they play them: you play him wonderfully and i love him? sai’s added a ton of depth to axel/lea that just isn’t there in the games and it’s made him a far more engaging characterThe Mun: as said above, sai adds a ton more characterization than what’s been presented in the games. it’s great! hmm since this meme does encourage brutal honesty though, i’d say your weakest point is being able to say ‘no’ and not bite off more than you can chew with all your threads and aus.

Ven kinda didn’t remember how to answer questions with all the ones dripping from his mouth. Dry, uncomfortably wet whispers of “who are you?” and “who was she?” and the extremely pressing “why was she stabbing him in the middle of the night and threatening everyone he cared about”.

And on top of that everything hurt. It hurt so much he couldn’t fix his gaze on anything.

Honestly, someone was probably gonna come just from hearing Ven yell in the first place, let alone the roar of magic destroying his room. His hand wrapped loosely around the stranger’s, and indulged in the hum of magic. Something to tether him down for the moment as he drifted somewhere in “so much pain there wasn’t any”.

“someone’s gonna come…” he muttered.

Ventus was fading, and Wind could only hope that it was simply into unconsciousness and not somewhere far more... sinister. He did what he could to comfort him, holding him gently as he tried to lessen his pain and ease what he could of his wounds.

“I’m sorry Ven... I should’ve broken free sooner, I should’ve... gotten here sooner, should’ve stopped her, shouldn’t known...” 

No, no, no. It wasn’t right, wasn’t fair of him of him to slip into self pity, even though the words tumbled so easily from him tongue. It didn’t matter if it felt like his own Heart was aching and breaking - he wasn’t the actual injured party here, and whimpering for sympathy in any capacity was uncalled for.

Her keyblade? Aqua’s keyblade had a manifestation that was human? Could they even do that? Riku couldn’t say that he wasn’t confused by the idea, but he took it in stride. The worlds had come up with some really strange things, and who was to say that couldn’t happen. As long as Aqua had been here in the Realm of Darkness, she could have been able to come up with things that they couldn’t have ever dreamed of. Hopefully whatever it was could give them the edge they needed against Xehanort. Unfortunately that meant that they needed to find Aqua to pull her out and… well, this just got distressingly more complicated. Not only was Aqua not right here, despite her keyblade being so, but if there were two people to pull out of the Realm of Darkness… well, Riku had been confident of his ability before. He’d just have to push himself to ensure that no one was left behind.

He wasn’t about to leave her stranded for any longer. Not when she had saved him before. “I’m Riku.” The keyblade master offered, glad to see that the other seemed to be focusing better on him than he was moments ago. No lasting damage; A cure spell or potion should be able to ensure that. Reaching back into his pocket, he pulled out a potion and cracked the top of it, releasing the healing effect so it could work on the the injuries. “I’m here to help her. We can get her out of here.” A hand was offered to help the keyblade to his feet. “Let’s not stick around for the heartless to find us again.”

“Riku...” He repeated his name slowly as Rain reached out to grip his shoulder tightly, using it to help steady himself even as the effects of the cure potion started to sink in. Right... Riku. He... He was...

“You’re that... kid from the islands. The one, t-the one with, with S-sora, and...”

It was a memory that Rain had that he didn’t really have, an event that he knew about that he hadn’t actually been a participant in. Recalling it was like recalling an old movie filmed in an odd first-person perspective. It was all there, but he really hadn’t been the one who had experienced it.

It was hardly the first time that he had stumbled upon one of those memories, and he knew it wouldn’t be the last. What was far more concerning was the fact that Riku had been... he had been a child before, and now he seemed to be a grown man. “H-how... how much time...?”

Ven balked a bit at the flood of information. She just kept going. He was a bit overwhelmed by needing to take in everything, but really it was one question that blurted from his mouth:

“You were… born from a keyblade?” He asked with a hesitance reserved for the most confusing of circumstances. He knew Keyblades were weirdly sentient, he knew they were born of strong hearts, but coming full circle and making a living, breathing girl? Something he’d never heard of!

He took her hand not to guide her, but to quizzically look at it. He was still new at sensing the auras of others- nowhere near Aqua’s proficiency of discerning light and darkness -but he knew she felt like… like Wayward Wind, for lack of comparison. Not quite, since there was something off, something different, but there was that warmth, the hum of tempered power that only a keyblade could show.

He looked back up at her, tilting his head with an audacious smirk, “So what’s the lucky keyblade?”

She nodded before reaching up to brush a strand of silver hair back behind her shoulder. “From my own understanding, it’s from the fact that keyblades come into contact with Hearts so often. Such exposure has lead to their own Hearts slowly forming aaandd...” One arm outstretched, her hand curled up in a tight fist, and with a small ‘poof’ noise she expanded her fingers outward.

“A new person is born.”

Not quite a real person since they were missing a Body and only had a Heart and a Soul, but close enough.

Star allowed Ven to take her hand again, patiently walking beside him as he seemed to examine her with the utmost care. Just what it was he was looking for, she didn’t know-

Ah.

It seems Dawn was set on an idea, and it was one that Riku had presented. No backing out now. The trick of the matter was that the one time he had been to the Grid was in the course of his Mark of Mastery exam. Getting to the Sleeping Worlds was a bit of a trick, but one Riku knew. There were no simple corridors of darkness to pass through, the borders of the world sealed up too tight for heartless to make it through. They’d have to dive, something Riku had gotten a great deal of practice in now. Summoning the actual keyblade to hand, Riku focused on what it was he was going for, asking for a path to the world. With a flash, it complied, showing him the way. Riku then offered his hand to Dawn so she might be able to come with him. The dive wouldn’t take long, and soon enough the two of them were dropping their feet onto the strange terrain that was the Grid. Bright lights, dark base colors, and a general atmosphere much different from what one normally encountered, the world gave off that sensation of electronic. Inorganic. Built by something that didn’t think along the same lines as other people. Riku kinda liked it as it was so different from a lot of the other things he had seen in his travels. Now however, his attention was drawn to Dawn herself out of curiosity. What would she look like here in this world? Would she have the white lines that Riku, Sam and Quorra had sported? How would it alter her choice in wear? He also found himself almost looking eye to eye with her rather than looking down at her.  A breif flash of confusion, then humph of understanding. Right, the sleeping worlds were trapped in the time they fell to darkness. That meant they didn’t have time in the same way, and it was likely Riku was actually the age he had been when they fell rather than his actual age. Hmph, what a way to be fifteen again. Hopefully that wouldn’t cause trouble. “Well, what do you think?”

The sensation of diving had an unintended side-effect of causing a wave of nausea to wrap around her, resulting in a slight wobble when they ‘landed’ followed by a slight spin. This was what caused her to take a long moment to actually look over herself to see how she actually appeared now.

Her sleeves seemed slightly longer, as well as her skirt, and what she could really only describe as thin glowing lines that marked along her clothing, and down along her skin. It wrapped around the hem of her skirt as well as marks that trailed down along her legs and forearms, ending in circle along the backs of her palms.

“Oh.”

Dawn looked down at herself for a long moment, carefully inspecting her visible inches as she slowly twisted. She had vaguely known what to expect and yet, even so, this still seemed to surpass it.

A bright smile split across her lips as she looked up at Riku. “I think it’s amazing.” With little thought she stepped forward to grab his arm, intent on pulling him along- when in reality it should have been the other way around, as she didn’t know her way around this world. 

Now there was a memory he could have gone without. He had attacked Beast, mocked Sora and left him with nothing more than a wooden sword in that dangerous castle, and had claimed to be the keyblade’s only master. In that moment, he had the keyblade, but a short time later it had returned to Sora. His heart had proved stronger, Riku’s weak and crumbling under the influence of darkness and the snake words of Maleficent. If one wanted to speak of the will of a keyblade, Riku had felt it. It had taken time, but eventually he had earned the chance to once again wield one, Soul Eater becoming more than before. Riku had to force his hands to relax that tension. Obi had not been trying to strike at his weakness, but was simply reminding him. A reminder he had needed. In a sense, it was almost nice to be reminded of that as it meant that the keyblade continued to remai with him. That he hadn’t strayed from the path he had chosen.

Thoughts twisted around in Riku’s head, enough so that he stayed silent for a long moment as he let them process. His own keyblade could have a person like this? Interesting. How would he know where to find this person? The more pressing concern was the chance that Xehanort’s different blades could also potentially have their own beings. As if there was not enough trouble running about with Xigbar, Saïx, and the various others. Another power like that on the side of darkness, another being who could carry out a portion of Xehanort’s plan. Riku felt behind enough as it was. “So now that you are, what do you intend to do?” Riku asked, genuinely curious.

It was his weakness. His own ‘fatal flaw’, so to speak. Born from his own ignorance of the world around him (or, more aptly and more kindly, his own naivety), Oblivion rarely hesitated when it came to speak his thoughts. Honesty was the best policy, was it not? You were never supposed, not as far as his own limited understanding went. Oathkeeper would have gently guided him through the conversation and would he chided him at the mention of a memory that he would clearly want forgotten - but without her, he simply spoke what came to mind.

How could that be a bad thing?

Riku’s question caused Oblivion to purse his lips for a moment. “What I... intend?” What a strange question... “I suppose I intend to see how I can best serve you and other keybladers. Other than that...”
