Ideas are taking shape... there is much to be done! I've been meaning to draw this guy for a while now so I'm really happy to get this done. Definitely gonna try and experiment with all kinds of expressions and the like. Yes it has strong corvid vibes, crows are just goated [citation needed]. I tinkered with yellows and dark markings like irl kestrels but this more sleek look better fits the Corvidae theme I'm going for.

Also I just saw your turbo/rio videos and I love them so much omg, the analysis, the tasteful anecdotes and bits, the art and editing. Literally some of my fav video essays ever, or rather, just some of my fav videos every tbh, I was blown away frankly. I watched the rio video because I love birds and then all throughout the next day I was thinking “wow that rio video was so good. I haven’t seen wreak it ralph since it came out, but damn I really ought to check out that turbo video, no way it’s 2 hours that amazing quality and style? that would be insane?? No way right???” (it was) And I proceeded to be completely enthralled for 2 days watching more of it every chance I could get. It’s like the perfect level of entertaining, dramatic, and emotional, all balanced so masterfully so as to weave an enigmatic tale of manipulation and terror while never feeling too overbearing. Unlike some other videos you don’t just throw in random memes and sounds, your bits are all creative/unique and have personality to them (like when you switch to pencil drawn Random birbsona while saying something quiet, or the story about deleting the embarrassing turbo hate comment) all while still seeping with passionate and DEEP VILLAIN ANALYSIS... damn… what was I asking about? Viva Pinata is not a game I have played nor am I deeply familiar with it but its one of those Things that I just know I would really enjoy because its a creature game with bright colors and silly critters so i am a fake fan in the early stages
