later in the year, we unfortunately found out she has hip dysplasia after noticing irregular walking & signs of pain.

her vet gives her supplements & prescribed aspirin as needed. but she is still in a lot of pain, a lot of the time. the veterinarian told us it will improve around age 2 when the scar tissue has built up. physical therapy would help alleviate some of Bella’s pain. i don’t think it’s fair to play a waiting game till age 2 when she isn’t even 1 yet.

we don’t have the resources for physical therapy. nor for the x-rays she needs, or for any potential surgery/medications.

if you donated, it would go towards: creating more accessible ways for her to get around our house, like ramps on the stairs, physical therapy payments, x-rays, potentially hip replacement surgery, and veterinary appointments.

thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to anyone who is able to donate. there’s a lot of people who need support right now, i understand that in the scheme of things this isn’t top priority. but i see her pain, in her eyes, in her walking, when she tries to run but can’t. my heart aches knowing there’s things that can help, but that she isn’t high enough on the priority list. it’s been a really, really rough year (including several deaths, termites, and cancer) for my family, so i just hope those who have the ability will be able to donate.
