The Birth of Norman in my Headcannon!

Hiya folks, apologies for the lack of posts! I am a tad bit more active on my Instagram, I have a bit more posts there as well. 💙

I don’t have much to say about this one, just that it’s been sitting in the vault for about a month now, just had the urge to finally post it. 💙

Hiya, folks! Long time no post, my apologies. This is Norman from Interpol’s Evil music video, and my new special interest! Seriously, I have not drawn anything but this silly puppet man for the past few weeks, I think I may have a problem 😳. 💙

In the music video, I loved the part where Norman gets wheeled into the hospital and the nurse, doctor, whatever, gently places a hand on The puppet’s cheek:

And then it kinda looks like it looks up at the person with concern and sadness, I love it, I love how the makers of this music video/Norman animatronic were able to program him with so much emotion! And I’m so happy that the animatronic is had been restored and is doing well after twenty years! (I advise you to look into its story, it’s quite interesting but warning if you do not like seeing abandoned/broken animatronics)

Anyway, I kind of interpret the music video Norman that we see (one one that sings and dances, the one that is in the drawing above) is just in Norman’s head. He is in shock after the car accident, and in return is not really seeing things as they are. This is how they really are:

Silver!!!!!

Hiya folks! A few weeks ago me and my brother went to the Sonic Symphony, and that experience kinda lit a spark of inspiration in me to draw something Sonic related. I really like Silver the Hedgehog, this is my interpretation of him kinda ‘losing control’. I really love how this piece turned out, especially the gold cuffs (it took me way too long to figure out the lighting on those lol)! 💙

I plan on posting the speed paint/time lapse of this on YouTube later, as well as some of the other drawings I have posted, stay tuned! 💙

Small update on the Roger Rabbit comic: I am still working on it! I want to get a good number (maybe three or four) pages fully sketched out so I can continue a weekly upload schedule like before and not be too crunched for time! 💙

Hiya folks! I am on vacation right now, and it is also my birthday! I am 19 years old today, finally! I felt like I was 18 for five years or something.

Amazing birthday though, i am in Hollywood Studios with my family, and, as you see, my Roger Rabbit. The “Disney nuimo’s” clothes fit him quite well, if you don’t mind squeezing his big ol’ hands through. More pictures to come soon, after the vacation concludes on Wednesday.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Hiya folks, MERRY CHRISTMAS!! This is the special Christmas surprise I mentioned yesterday! I am quite happy with how it turned out, I hope you guys like it too! 💙

I’d imagine Roger would ask Teddy to help wrap him, as a ‘surprise’ present to Jessica. Teddy would think the idea is stupid, but help anyway. Unfortunately, though, both Teddy and Roger are very incompetent gift wrappers, whether they are wrapping a hyperactive-cartoon rabbit or not. Which leaves us with the blotchy, messy, paper placement and a tangled ribbon mess. Teddy is taking the picture, covered in as much paper and tape, and tangled in as much ribbon as Roger! 💙

I also wanted to say that the week of Christmas and onward, I believe until mid-January, are also going to be quite hectic as we have the holidays, a wedding and vacation all coming up. I will try to keep up with the schedule, but if I can’t you know why!

Anywho, first page in the ‘real’ world, woohoo! I tried to emulate the Roger Rabbit comic style it terms of shading, it definitely needs improvement but I say It’s a good start! 💙

I think I finally figured out a name for this project, ‘Anon’s Roger Rabbit 2’ just doesn’t cut it for me lol (though I will still use the hashtag) The name beging= Who Changed Roger Rabbit? I may change this in the future. 💙

Jessica Rabbit!!!!

Hiya, Folks! Jessica Rabbit for my Roger Rabbit 2!!! I’m very very happy with how she turned out, I think she looks so good!! 💙

Her being a detective was inspired by the Roger Rabbit Disneyland ride refurbishment that happened a few years back. I like the idea, but I really don’t think the ride did it justice :/ So, I’m gonna take it and run! 💙

Her dress is inspired by other good looking female characters around the time, namely, Mortica Adams and Elvira. 💙

She is still the same cool and companionate woman we all know. And her love for Roger has only grown in the past 35 years. 💙
