Honestly, I like to think their entire relationship is probably adorable. They spend exactly 0% of their energy trying to downplay their relationship. He gets incredibly worried every time she’s in danger, and she reassures him that she is fine and everything is fine…how are you?

Did I get a new draw pad? Yes.

Did my skills improve? Not at all.

Wormmon wasn’t at all phased by all of this. “Oh, of course, Hawkmon. We want to leave these two alone, don’t we?” As Wormmon was talking to Hawkmon, Ken soon wrapped an arm around Miyako and smiled. “Of course. Besides, I wanted to take a nice stroll with you before we get a bite to build up an appetite.” Oh, he was very happy to see her once again. 

Miyako’s eyes widened at Wormmon’s response. She was so busy fussing about getting him away from Ken, that it didn’t even cross her mind that she could’ve just asked for some space. What a good ‘mon he was, she was even feeling a bit ashamed of herself.

- Wonderful! - she clapped her hands, still somewhat dazzled - So that’s where we part our ways, then. I’m taking Ken-kun to the other side of the city compared to Park Güell.

As she spoked to the digimon, Miyako felt Ken’s arm wrap around her back. Has he always been this affectionate? Or was she just hyper-aware of it now that he revealed he knew about her feelings all along?

- A stroll, sure. A bit of walking never hurt anyone, right? - she said, blushing.

Miyako:  Hey Ken-kun, you know you’ve become an handsome man? 

Ken: …it’s really hot today, don’t you think Miyako-san?
