Hey Dragonites, I wanted to let you know I'm getting ready for my first time participating in Art Fight. I made this quick character sheet for Ken and wanted to show it to you. I'll show you my card and my characters soon. I'm excited to face everyone!

•Gor3/ Violence:✅ (Cartoon/Slapstick gore only). He has green blood on purpose because it's meant to be funny and goofy when he bleeds! Think of classic, exaggerated cartoon violence. Please NO realistic, heavy, or bizarre gore.
•Alternative Outfits: ✅ feel free to experiment with his clothes and style!
•Ship Art: ✅ I don't mind ship art at all, so feel free to pair him up!
⚠️ Genderbend :Allowed, but with specific preferences! If you draw a female version of Ken, I’m only comfortable with WLW (Women Loving Women) dynamics, or MLW (Man Loving Woman) ships only with Jack. Also, even as a girl, Ken should still have a masculine/tomboy energy!

• Jack builds a boyfriend: It's a parody/reference comic to Frankenstein where Jack is a mad scientist who raids graves to create his partner
• The Blood Crown AU: It's a new concept where I combine several ideas from different stories where Jack is prince of the blood-red Spicer kingdom Each character is part of a kingdom in a medieval gothic fantasy world. Jack has to deal with the weight of one day leading the kingdom and being a good king when all he cares about is science, something that clashes with his family's ideals.
Since the YCH option was already launched on AccGoods, I had to sign up. I swore I had already done it, but apparently it was just a pre-launch thing. Well The thing is, I had to send my portfolio, my commission rate chart, my art networks, all the experience I have selling commissions, and answer some questions, etc.
It took me by surprise because I thought I was already registered and had already done and designed everything...
I went on a family trip and spent the whole week waiting for that darn email telling me I'd been accepted...I had already accepted that I didn't get into the program. I was wondering why, since I meet the requirements, if maybe it was a mistake, or if I should rethink what I did wrong, I messed it up and I should look for my mistakes to improve.
Then I decided to open the website and they accepted me, I think, a week ago 😑 ... I'm a fucking idiot!
I guess the lesson is that not all companies send emails and that I'm an idiot x2

It turns out that someone woke up wanting to cause trouble and started uploading videos to TikTok "redesigning" Kimiko because, according to them, it's a racist design...😩😭😂KIMIKO
The worst part isn't that, but that his redesign basically consisted of giving her brown eyes...
EXACTLY, perpetuating the concept that all Japanese people have dark eyes and hair ,lmao
The joke writes itself, although there are people who do think and complain about how she's playing the victim over something stupid, while there are people who genuinely think Christy Hui is racist in the comments
Friend, I invite you to really watch the series and notice that there are more Japanese characters and more American characters besides Clay (they complain about him too).
I understand that someone without context about the Chinese representation of the sun might complain about racism in the design of Omi.. But Kimiko?

I was thinking about something kinda curious today. I think the last date I went on was with a blue-haired guy (didn't pay much attention to his hair that day, and btw, he bought me a bunch of stuff; I don't know why everyone always gives me gifts on dates, hshshs).
But looking back, even lately while being at home and not being able to go out much, every single time a girl, guy, or non-binary person approaches me... all of them have blue hair. I thought it was just a coincidence, but it's a whole pattern at this point.
A few days ago, I was at the bus terminal traveling with my family (it was during the pride march), and this guy was staring at me for a good while. I didn't think much of it, but he approached me right when my family went to the restroom and I was left alone watching the luggage. And guess what? Blue hair. The exact same shade of blue, and they all dress in all-black.
Why is this happening? Does green just attract blue-haired people? 😆It’s honestly gentle and funny because I love Jack and he has red hair, literally the exact opposite.
It ended a bit sad though, because since I still can’t speak due to my stroke, I could barely even move my hand to wave back. And when people ask for my IG, I don't even have one. So I just end up looking like I'm accidentally rejecting everyone. He just walked away, and I had to leave too anyway.🤷🏻♂️

The year before last I started a school AU, I only uploaded things to Facebook (I haven't used that social network in a while) I never uploaded anything here, although I did have several fanfics and character sheets for each Xiaolin Showdown character
It's from the 2000s and each character went through some vulnerable situation or disorder they had to deal with. (And each one had a different subculture)
Sometimes I think about picking it up again but...damn, school AUs are so generic, so I'd rather dedicate my time to other AUs I have

The irony of being called "racist" by someone who is literally assuming my race just because I speak English on the internet 😂 I’m pretty sure that if I answered in Spanish or Chinese, they wouldn’t even understand.
Why do you assume that if I use a word from another language, I don’t speak it, or that I’m not from that country? My friend, you don’t even know me. It seems way more racist to assume an Asian person can't speak English, or to completely ignore that mixed-race people exist and that we are perfectly capable of understanding the nuance of a word.
Selfshipping and yumeship are not the same thing, you can't just swap them. Do you even know what 'yume' means? Being trapped in such an ignorant bubble, assuming things about strangers, and accusing them of racism based on a discourse where you think a single hashtag defines someone's entire race... that actually sounds pretty racist of you. 🤷🏻♂️
I had to change my profile picture so they wouldn't think I blocked them or something (they asked me). It was black because... well, you know, the "emotional problems" effect, although in this case it's physical.
