This meme is all about the idealism most Filipinos have.

Why don’t we realize that we demand change in our nation but can’t manage to start it within ourselves? Change must start with each and every one of us. If you want change, you must also change your ways. For example, Filipinos demand a corrupt-free government, but they vote the one who gives money for votes. Filipinos want smooth-sailing traffic, but they can’t follow simple traffic rules. Most of Filipinos nowadays use social media as a platform to bash someone’s mistakes, but why can’t they see their wrongdoings first? It is very scary to use social media nowadays because it feels like every post you will make there’s always someone who’ll contradict or something to say. I’m so fed up with this kind of mentality that Filipinos have and now is the time for us to stop with this kind of idealism.
