about exoâs comeback... theory I
(i wrote this post three days ago so iâm sorry if thereâs some info that only got stated at the end/later on in the theory, because when i started this i only knew like six things and i eventually researched, so thereâs quite a few information that got pushed down the theory. this went through a major editing shit and all lmao and iâm sorry if thereâs grammatical errors, iâm still isnât really fluent in english hahaHAHAAHAHh so iâm sorry if you canât understand few things. c: anyways, continue on. one more thing, this is a long ass post so you better have shit ton of time to read this and read it carefully to fully understand!. :))
âŚi was thinking what the concept is going to be, theme, songs, the members, etc etc and i came across this post that stated that exoâs concept is probably going to have something to do with michael vs lucifer. itâs just a rumor tho. bUT, iâll make a theory out of that.
letâs assume that exoâs comeback concept is lucifer vs michael. i didnât really do alot of research on this one but letâs talk about exoâs individual powers first.
alright, with that covered iâm assuming that the members are going to be separated in two groups. since thereâs nine of them itâs not going to be equal, and i thought that maybe one of more of them are human (aka no powers) in the comeback. the two groups that iâm talking about is basically devils vs angels.
letâs not think about who can be human(s) in the comeback, letâs set that aside for later on. i separated the members in to two groups as accurately as i can, and this is just an assumption because iâm judging their places by their current hair colors and powers.
as far as we know (or i know lol) suho has grey hair which he showed in that vapp when sehun and chanyeol tried to surprise which and failed but in recent updates that kwanghee posted, suho has ash grey brown hair smth because itâs grey when his hair is in the light so iâm pretty confused tbh.  chanyeol as we all know has red hair, which corresponds to his power, fire. while sehun up to this date and the recent airport photos has black hair. kyungsoo didnât change his hair color as well, itâs still is black. jongdae still has his hair black. jongin, the recent airport photos, clearly has blonde hair. yixing still has his black hair and minseok with orange hair. as for baekhyun, he has black hair.Â

SO, at this point iâm still assuming that some of the members are going to change the color of their hair, probably not kyungsoo but weâll never know. personally, iâm sure that theyâre going to have a dark concept comeback which is pretty sexy oml. (confirmed by jongin, 160528)

alright, iâll explain the points of my theory now.
here are some of the ideas that popped up in my mind when i read about the michael vs lucifer thing that is supposed to do something with exoâs comeback.
obviously i believe that theyâre going to have a supernatural concept. something that has to do with their powers because their powers hasnât been used since mama era, although in pathcodes they did use their powers but not on the actual comeback
as i stated earlier, exo will be separated into two groups and no iâm not talking about the exo-k exo-m type, in which theyâll be separated to promote in different times and places itâs devil vs angels groups kind of thing
another one is that their hair colors or/and their powers can be involved in something about the lucifer vs michael concept
fourth one is that possibly one or more members can be a human, and the remaining members will be in two different groups and those human(s) will turn into a devil or an angel, or just simply can stay the same (in the mv)
in the mv the human(s) will be lured into one of the sides and turn into an angel or a devil, depends in which side they got lured in
sehunâs ig. his recent updates were cuts and blood all over his hands and face, and baekhyun had blood and wounds on his face too which led me into thinking that the concept will have a fighting scene (which increased my curiosity about the lucifer vs michael thing bc they did fight)

before we could get into putting the members under their specific categories, letâs look at what an angel and a devil and their powers that they possess. (this is from various sites, mostly from sites that studies religion, as a reminder this is just some of their abilities, not all.)

they can cause a demonized person to physically experience muteness, deafness, seizures, various ailments, and cause great strength
disguises himself as an angel of light when in human form
iâm going to compare the members with these points as accurately as i can:

closest member: jongin, his power is teleportation

closest member: baekhyun, his power is light

closest members: yixing, his power is healing and suho, guides others (leader of exo, stage name translates to guardian)

closest members: all, because of them being wolves in the wolf era
as for the devilsâ points, thereâs no member that is closest to the points but iâll still put them under the categories i feel like they fit under. as a reminder this is my personal view, so it can be different from yours and others.

letâs talk about the devil section first.
why chanyeol? because he has red hair, his powers is flame which literally is related to hell, physiqueâtall, muscles, basically can throw you off a 53985486 feet high cliff.
why kyungsoo? because of his black hair as well, his power is strength/earth which actually tricked me into making him fall under the angel section because angels are strong, but tbh he just fits the demon type with his aura and all, because at this time baekhyun has a greater chance of being an angel and i donât think sm will put them together or baekhyun under the devil section, because baekhyun doesnât really have any related points to the characteristics of the devil we listed here whatsoever and i think kyungsoo fits it more than baekhyun. adding to that, putting them in the same group will take a vocalist out of the angel group. one of them needs to stay in the devil section and i pick kyungsoo although baekhyun falls under my ? list, but as we progress through this theory, weâll see.Â
why jongdae? because of his black hair, but not sure of that yet if he still has black hair because iâm not getting recent updates from him lately, and his fansites still has updates from last month which is not really new updates, and his powerâlightning. screams devil for me.
baekhyun really confuses me⌠like⌠he can be in the devil section as well but since we are talking about their powers involved and all that doesnât seem right. his power is light which is angel for me that is but if you were to ask me iâll put him under the angel section as i said earlier, but i am still isnât sure yet. donât worry iâll update the chart as we go on and find out some facts.
xiumin. god, xiumin. alright, heâs the one who made me stare into the fucking computer screen for hours arguing with myself whether heâs devil or angel or possible, a human. his power is frost, which is completely the opposite of devil and his hair color is orange and heâs more to the angel side tbh, but i am still is skeptical about him i donât know why.
sehunâs power is wind. which falls under the category of between the middle of the devil and angel, that is for me. i know his hair color, which is black but his fucking power throws me off the wheel because he can use it to fuck the weather up like make a tornado or some shit or put out fire, which is chanyeolâs power. do you see how fucking confusing it is? likeâŚ..?? his power canât be classified as a angel power or a devil power. itâs just is in the middle. what iâm basically saying is that, he can be an angel or a demon because he can use his powers in the bad way or the good way which is basically fighting chanyeol or some shit since wind put out fire. personally, heâs more of a human now. i think he does not have enough evidences to neither be an angel or a demon because of the facts i stated in this paragraph. just for a little while, iâll put him in the unsure category.
suho, we know heâs under the angel category. his stage name is literally guardian so it wouldnât make shit sense if he was under the devil category. his power is water which doesnât relate to hell of being a devil at all, so heâs definitely an angel for me.
as for jongin, his power is teleportation which i researched thoroughly, and apparently his power is indeed is of an angel. why? angels can randomly appear out of nowhere, which is literally his power, teleportation. his hair color as well, which is blonde clearly tells me heâs under the angel category.
yixingâs power is healing, which canât be devil because itâs healing, come on man thatâs too kind to be fucking devil plus weâre talking about yixing here. heâs literally an angel living in this planet. as for his hair color, which is black, i guess iâll let it go since angels can have black hair anyways.
iâll talk about a section of michael vs lucifer thoroughly because itâs relevant, and we could get some facts to use later on.

so it says here that itâs basically satan rebelling against god, and so i thought the devil group rebelled against the angel group and it led to a fight hence the concept michael vs lucifer and the pictures sehun posted on his instagram plays a huge part in this.Â

iâm going to assume that each side has a leader. for the devil side iâll choose chanyeol, and for the angel side i âll choose suho. the reason is that their powers are completely the opposite of one another, water and fire, when you put together creates smoke. suhoâs hair, which is grey basically tells me that it has something to do with fire on water or smth like that lmAo and itâs also because of their ranking that i put them in their groups. suho is of course the leader of the angel side and i picked chanyeol because he fits the lucifer concept thing.Â
why not kyungsoo or jongdae?Â
because chanyeol and suho really fit the leader position. suhoâs name is literally guardian and their powers are the exact opposite of each other as i said earlier. letâs say kyungsoo is the demon leader. strength and water??? i donât think so. letâs put jongdae in. lightning and water actually is a nice match because you could get shocked when something electrical strikes the water but in my humble opinion, it doesnât work. water and fire are the best match as everyone knows. and lightning and water arenât even enemies likeâŚ. they can kill someone but not kill each other if that makes shit sense.
as for the angelâs side, jonginâs power doesnât even relate to chanyeolâs which is flame. jonginâs power is teleportation and tbh no one would pair teleportation to flame lmao but thatâs just me. as for yixingâŚ. itâs just a simple no. :) healing and flame??? alright im laughin rn ofmg im sorry but it doesnât work.
what iâm basically saying here is that each members under a specific category (angel and devils) will have a specific rank in the hierarchy of angels and demons and theyâll have another member(s) to fight with. from here, i can see that suho will be the highest ranking angel or the god, and chanyeol may be is the lucifer.

well, letâs think about the mv if their concept is indeed angels vs demons. jongin actually said they went for a heavy, darker concept so iâm pretty fucking sure theyâll be doing something related to angels and devils. anyways, about the mv, as i said iâm fucking sure that theyâll have a fighting scene (thank you oh sehun for hinting it out), and there canât be a fighting scene if the members arenât on the opposite sides right?Â

itâs a fucking clue, and iâve so fucking blind not to see it and shit and look, it seems like chanyeol and suho are definitely rivals in their upcoming comeback. iâm also thinking that the pathcodes might have something to do with this shit. iâve recently watched chanyeolâs and suhoâs but i got nothing. but donât you think itâs odd how the pathcodes doesnât even relate to call me baby? they certainly has a purpose but those pathcodes are too confusing for me to crack.Â
iâll talk about sehunâs recent instagram updates. he posted three pictures that consists baekhyun, his eye and his hand. theyâre all covered in blood and baekhyunâs face has a cut on it, and so does sehun which strongly indicates fighting. as i said earlier, each member might have to fight with another member, so i thought, oh maybe baekhyun and sehun are rivals, which led me thinking hard as fuck on which one of them is devil and angel because they canât fight if theyâre under the same group, right? but that is if they are indeed enemies in the mv. or, theyâre under the same group which could be angels or demons and fought other members who are devils/angels, but in my personal view they are still is under the ? category because as i said, sehunâs power is quite confusing but at this point that iâm writing this sentence, iâm convinced that baekhyun is under the angel section while iâm still is unsure about sehunâs place. although for me, sehun is more of a human rather than being an angel or a demon, or simply, he can be both.
adding to the sehun instagram update pictures, i forgot to mention their powers. sehun is wind, baekhyun is light. if you put them together, they donât really fit. they donât do shit together tbh lmao but light can blind someone and wind can cause tornados and natural disasters if itâs strong enough. but togetherâŚ.. i donât know man itâs awkward. because wind canât push light and light can do shit to wind as i said so i think that theyâre not partners if theyâre under the same group, or theyâre rivals, but there can be a chance that they are rivals if theyâre with someone. light vs wind is fucking boring to watch so there should be something or someone to help them to fight each other or fight together.
âŚi just looked back and skimmed through sehunâs bloody posts and i noticed his knuckles. theyâre more bruised that the rest of his hand. his cheek as well, it has a wound there.Â
iâm assuming that he didnât use his powers when he fought in the mv because he can certainly use his power but why is his knuckles more red/bruised? that is basically the result of punching someone. bruised knuckles, you know shit like that and personally, this added the chance that he is human. because for me itâs clear that he didnât use his power in the fighting scene. thinking more wider and farther, this idea just popped in my mind a second ago. a member or members or all of them mightâve started as humans. as they progress through the mv/song, they got lured into one of the sides because one of them or both of them are feeling down and a demon will take advantage of this and theyâll lure him into their side, but in order for that to happen, one or more members must be a demon. iâm going to be slightly off-sehun-topic here but this is relevant. in the war of heaven (michael vs lucifer), lucifer got defeated and sent down to earth like a lightning. so you know that i put chanyeol as the lucifer/leader of the demon side, right? so what i am basically saying here is that chanyeol is the demon that will lure sehun or baekhyun or other members that are possibly human. why chanyeol? as i said, lucifer got defeated by michael. so what iâm saying here is that, chanyeol has no companions (although after the michael vs lucifer war, he indeed had some but letâs ignore that for the sake of this speculation) and he roams around the earth because iâve read on different sites that he is the prince of the world (because god is king and heâll always be above him) by prince of the world what i meant is ruling this world in pure evilness. setting that aside, my point is chanyeol wants possibly sehun/baekhyun or other members in his team by luring them so he can have a companion. or he can have kyungsoo and jongdae after he got kicked out of heaven. but that speculation, iâll leave to another paragraph. since iâm assuming that baekhyun and sehun did fight and both of them felt down, chanyeol will lure one of them. keep in mind that he can lure anybody else not just sehun and baekhyun, but letâs not forget that thereâs angels too, which prevents demons to luring a person in darkness. this speculation, iâll leave in another paragraph too.Â
going back on sehun and baekhyun topic, hereâs another assumption:Â sehun and baekhyun were friends in the mv, and they fought over something/one which lead to hatred for each other and you know how a demon tells lies in order to lure the person to him/hell? iâm thinking one or possibly both of them got lured in and all, but as i said, baekhyun is a less possible demon for me so letâs say sehun got lured into the demon side. but, itâs just a speculation, all of this is just assumption just to remind you but i think these photos are like the start of the mv IF this mvâs stars are baekhyun and sehun and it could be anyone from exo really, but none of them posted these kind of photos so iâll just assume that sehun and baekhyun fought and iâm going to continue what iâm saying a second ago, i think this is the start of the mv, after they fought and all then the story goes from there. i can smell a drama mv coming. i can smell it. because this concept kind of huge and all and a simple 4 minutes mv doesnât clearly explain it. i just realized something. you know how wolf came with a drama mv? and you know that their concept is supernatural? shape-shifting and all? i think theyâre connected. connected by themes. not connected by story, anyhow but connected in some way. connected by supernatural concept, in wolf they turned into wolves (lol the fuck duh) and in their upcoming comebacks, iâm assuming theyâll turn into devils, angels, or humans. thereâs alot of fucking possibilities and iâm not even halfway through yet.
as i promised, iâm going to talk about jongdae and kyungsoo being with chanyeol after he got kicked out of heaven. if jongdae and kyungsooâs with chanyeol after he got kicked out of heaven, they are automatically demons, or fallen angels if you donât know. and this is what jesus said when he saw lucifer falling out of heaven, âi saw satan fall {out of heaven} like a lightning,â and earth is usually the place where fallen angels were casted to.
kyungsooâs power is earth. jongdaeâs power is lightning.Â
