This anime was all over livejournal, fanficton.net, the anime was split into 3 to 4 videos on youtube, it had movies, a million characters songs, a lot of doujinshi, like 100 live plays, tons of cosplayers, people would make video analyses on youtube, tons of shipping discourse, lots of shippable characters, dudebros would have powerscaling discourse. it even had a chinese live action tv show. And the fans ate it all up, me included. People were so obsessed with the live action actors that they started fan accounts and watched their other works.
