About 70% pilfered from other sprites & redrawn and 30% off the dome art (style-matching the hand was a nightmare)

I wanted to ask how you go about creating names for your characters. do u make them up? or are they derived from certain things? folklore? Particular cultures? perhaps baby name websites ? or is it just whateva

i find your character names to be very unique and was very curious how you come up with them !!

how do i go about creating names... yes i do make them all up x] ! i think them having unique names makes it easier for me to like them and also makes them stand out easier for when i create a comic or something!

as to how i come up wit them wellllll...

its all about how it sits on the tongue

for example this left characters name is definitely SASBADI of the stars and the right one is definitely YFALU the moon queen because it just sits right with me to call them that!

guy on the left is definitely ASTORTRO son of adraviras because this guy is letter A shaped and astortro sounds like something related to astrology so it does sound like a name for somebody like him... Demi god wizard guy....

the one on the right is ADRAVIRAS. OF COURSE her name is ADRAVIRAS! i feel like it somehow sounds so godly out of this world just like her

i think WUDSJAK is the name i love the most out of all the ones ive made up because the W sounds smooth and his name ends with a K sound so its both smooth and rough! just like him!

what im saying is that i alway try to make the names somehow represent the design

Pretty sure a bunch of people have already asked you this already but how did you practice art? All your designs are extremely creative and you’re style is super unique, how exactly did you build your style? Do you have any specific artists that you follow? Anything that helped you form it as you learnt how to draw? My main question is about where and how you learnt anatomy,character design and colour-picking, (or how u got your style/learnt to draw in general) since that’s what attracts me the most about your art.

I’d love to hear about it and I wish to be as good at drawing as u someday give me ur knowledge oh cool and enlightened narantaran

i still like this artstyle.. it fit what i was drawing in the moment... these teen characters having fun... but i still wish i had made more art in these times... way more so i could have a lot of stuff to look at now because i didnt make that much art as i wish i had of my characters. i really wanted them to be famous and i did 3 little comics and i wish i had made more

so yeah i used to have this cartoonish style directly inspired by SPIROU! Im still a big fan of the spirou comics and wish to learn french one day!!

AND THEN.....

one day i found myself listening to mano negra *sidi h bibi* as i had found the song out of nowhere and seriously listen to this song!! something changed in me when i heard it i tell ya!!! SOMETHING CHANGED!!!! I LOVE MANO NEGRA!!!!!! MANO NEGRAAAAAA MANO NEGRAAAAAAAAAA MANU CHAOOOO

i pictured some beautiful scenery when i heard this song!!! so then i decided out of nowhere that i wanted to make cowboys. Never was i so interested about making something western related until now!! so...

i made these guys! chilly and viyone! this is a drawing from december 2023,, my second earliest drawing of them!! one thing i really liked about making characters was the kind of clothes they would wear so with these new cowboys and their story i decided i wanted to make something more fashionable... in a way... i want every character to look GOOD... explore how far i can take my designing skills... so yeah...

then i watched jojos

because obviously hirohiko araki has some INSANE stylistic choices that i wanted to learn about... *i havent read steel ball run yet...*

and then i watched a lot of movies!!! im still on my journey to keep watching movies!!! find more weird stuff that reminds me of my own story!!! i can mention to you some big movie inspirations like The Fall (2006), Zardoz (1974), Forbbiden Zone (1980) ANDDD the whole filmography of director Alejandro Jodorowsky hehe god i LOVE him and his art oh WOW the man is VERY VERY OLD now and im sad i wont get the chance to ever meet him... but yeah....

the book BLOOD MERIDIAN also got me very intrigued as a lot of visual descriptions of passersby in the book sound a lot like characters id make... i havent finished that book...

but the main inspiration *visually* for my art which revolves around my story has to be my city TIJUANA!!!! sadly but for the best i dont live there anymore, the moment i started making more cultural looking stuff i really wanted to grasp tijuanas cultural influence over me, i dont think i can explain it here but theres something about tijuana, this city sucks, it is not safe, that somehow makes it cool... theres a lot of diversity, a lot of surrealism, a lot of REALITY.... I dont even understand... but thats how my story feels like to me, and i wont say a word no more

i am a visual learner everything i make is based on what i think looks nice and thats based on art ive seen, i just go with the flow with what i can do and if something doesnt look right i change it and if it still doesnt look right i kill myself

i learned copying and studying other artists anatomy style... the artist "gunkyfrogs" on tiktok is who im talking about! i was hooked by how fluid their drawings were.. i think that helped a lot! IM NOT THAT GOOD AT ANATOMY HONESTLY HEHEHE NOT REALLY NOT REALLY THAT GOOD MAN and sometimes in a blue moon i practice drawing real human bodies

Colour picking comes just from inside my heart which is warm. I like warm colors. I actually like the yellow mexican filter people hate... i like it for my own reasons... thats why my drawings are yellow... and i just really like colors... i play with them until they are pleasure to my eyes...

Late posting this, but introducing one of my OCs, Ame (雨 ; あめ ; "ah-meh")

Theyre a character I made for a story Im writing since quite a while now, inspired by shinto mythology, Ame specifically takes part of a personal reinterpretation of the myth of Izanagi & Izanami. This story was initially only PC98 Touhou headcanons, but as I retired from Touhou, I ended up twisting it into its own thing.

Ame is a kuzuryuu (dragon yokai which has powers over the weather) plus a mix of ghost eel, jorunna parva ("sea bunnies") and cyerce elegans. I really like fih 🐟. A lot of their concept also takes inspiration from kofun era's fashion which I find very underrated, I think it fits for a very ancient and hidden deity.

This is also a concept Im working on associating with an Utau voicebank, hence why I havent been posting much art these past monthes, I have been focused on Utau. I had initially planned on showcasing their debut on december 29th but had to postpone it as I faced technical issues. This is long to explain because its due to my IRL situation, but finding occasions to record the voicebank have been a huge pain. Im also unsure yet if Ill make the voicebank openly available for download because im very protective of my concepts, especially if it has my voice associated with it.
