This is a comic based on a dream I had recently. I remembered a lot of the scenes in it vividly, and I really felt the need to draw them!
I don’t know who these people are, but they looked like off-colored versions of Hunter and Lyanii (my characters). The Monster would sometimes appear wearing a red and black suit instead of casual clothes. I’m not sure why anything was happening, but I get the feeling the Monster was never truly dead.

This was fun to work on! It was a nice change of pace. Took about 6-10 hours to complete.

💚💖"Our Quest for HOPE"💖💚
LORE: The Vinefolk wayfarer encounters a child hero in need of aid. Together, they travel the world up and down in search of HOPE. In the end, they find it at the top of the world.
Working on this was a marathon! Nearly 24 hours over 6 days, which is... A LOT of hours straight working over a short period of time. More than I'm used to lol. But it was worth it, this is something I really wanted to do but didn't have the time to focus on. And in the end, it's probably one of the best things I've ever drawn. For those in need of context, this is a contest entry for the annual charity stream event, Vinesauce is HOPE, where the Vinesauce streamers come together to raise money for the PCRF (Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation). The theme for this year's contest was Fantasy/Tabletop RPGs.
Originally, I wanted to have the Vinesauce streamers playing games at the bottom, and the rest of the image would be the imaginary DnD-like quest they were going through, but ultimately, I decided to make it a story of the Variety/Vinesauce community aiding a child in their quest for hope. I tried to be a little clever by incorporating the PCRF logo, haha.
