Well, I finished watching “My Liberation Notes” and it’s that kind of moment when your soul feels a little empty and you feel like something sad is squeezing your hearth.
It was a wonderful series (I think that it will be forever on my top ten of tv history) and just perfect in every way: there are moments for laugh, for cry, for surrealism, for beauty, for poetry. And, the thing that i loved the most was the writing, and how a show from a country so far away from mine, could talk to me so profroundly. Because we are humans, after all, with an open ending and looking for that seven seconds that can make you live another day.
Yeom siblings were just another level of good storytelling, specially Yeom Chang-hee and his path: shameless sometimes and a really good person who can face death when others run.
I could write forever about this show but, you know, you are an adult when you can keep words for yourself ;)
