I am trying to be content in this season that God has placed me in, but I feel utterly restless. I want so many things; I want to travel, I want to explore, I want to know what my purpose is and to live in it. I want my life to mirror those I so envy - those who get to travel, those who got their dream internship, those who are in love, those with children and a thriving family. I am blessed beyond belief. I have a family who loves and supports me beyond what I deserve and I have a God that never forsakes me. However, I feel disappointed and lost and upset and so many more emotions. I just want to be content. I just want to be thankful and joyful with what God has given me, but lately my heart can’t do anything but lift its hands in fists and yell, “when will it be my turn, Lord?”

@shepraises I know exactly how you feel. I going through the same thing right now. I'm sure God will give us what we want very soon
