You know what? I want the cliches. I want to watch the sunset with a beautiful girl. I want to not be able to take my eyes off of her, despite how much I love the sky. I want the soppy letters, the texts and to hear the love in her voice when she talks about me. I want to be the person she calls when she’s drunk but more importantly, when she’s sober. I want to laugh during sex because it is awkward and clumsy. I want people to tell me that they wish they had a love like ours. Maybe that’s naive or conventional of me, but what’s the point in love if you don’t show it. And as much as I want those things, I want the rest too. I want to be the shoulder she cries on when she’s had a shit day at work. I want to be the person she needs to look after her when she’s sick. I want to be the person to look after her when she’s anxious or depressed and just can’t get out of bed. I want everything. And no it isn’t fucking easy to always be there for someone, but it’s worth it for the right person. One day she will be the right person.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love sleeping alone in my bed and being able to completely sprawl out. But there’s something about being woken up in the middle of the night to your person scooting over and grabbing you closer. Even when you sleep on your stomach and angled all weird yet they still find a place to comfortably lay their head on your back and intertwine their legs with yours.

concept: your significant other loves taking pictures of you when you’re not watching. a candid of you laughing so hard your eyes are closed. one of cooking breakfast wearing their oversized shirt. one of you curled up asleep on the couch. a picture of every reason they love you. 

Concept: It’s a cloudy, rainy, autumn morning. We’re both in our softest pajamas. Your arms are around me and our legs are intertwined as we lay in bed. You press light kisses to the back of my neck. We’re finally together and everything feels right and happy.

i want to live life with you. not just the big moments, the parties, the concerts, the exciting parts of life, but the little things too. i want to go grocery shoping with you, decorate for the holidays together, see your beadhead in the morning. i wanna live my day to day with you by my side.
