karkat is a blue classic tabby with rounded ears. dave is a white spotted red colorpoint with oriental-ish type look, though not necessarily as extreme.

in this, all trolls would be blue tabbies (with their blood color as the coats undertone, so his fur is reddish grey for example - though that is only for artistic purposes and not a thing in real cats) of different patterns (which may or may not corelate with their place in the hierarchy). lower-ranking cats also have muddier, duller eye colors.
