Press for Superman has been going on a little while now, and I feel like the constant theme for myself is being completely out of touch with most everything in recent pop culture. Like I can't tell you if I'm having a brat summer, because I have no idea what that means. Don't ask me what my favorite song release from the last year is, because chances are good I haven't heard any songs from that timeframe. I feel like reporters are often either frustrated by me or mystified by me for having no idea about these things. Though lucky for them, my costars are there to carry me through by explaining things and make up for me being completely clueless with all their knowledge. So, when someone compared me to Miranda Priestley and her assistants for how much they have to feed me information, I got excited because hey, I actually recognized that reference. I'll be happy when press is over and I can retreat back into my world of old time jazz, Star Wars, and my daughter. Oh, I can imagine when motorcycles tend to make people nervous, especially moms! Although they look completely badass, so I can't blame you there. You weren't lying when you said Phoenix has gotten so big! I was shocked seeing him in Norway recently, just how much he's grown, so I can only imagine how you feel! Did he have a good first birthday celebration? I'll remind you that you're a great parent anytime you need me to, darling, so I'm always there for that. I'm not surprised John Wick resonated so much with people, and I bet now he's missed given how the last film ended. But you know I'll always watch anything in the John Wick verse, without a doubt. And I can understand that, since you want it to be worth bringing him back, right? Oh, I'm quite sure he'd go full on scorched earth on whomever hurt his kid, which is no surprise in the least. Yeah, the work on the last season was a bit crazy, but now that it's all finished, it feels a bit weird, if I'm honest. Do you ever have those random moments when you realize being an adult is such a great thing? Looking past all the ways it's sometimes stressful, I mean, and just embracing the personal perks of adulthood? For instance, my parents used to only allow us one, maybe two sugary treats a month in our household, and that's if we were lucky. So of course now, I eat desserts damn near every day, and there's always a lot of excitement around having cupcakes or donuts or iced coffee, all the things I know would have made my parents cringe. Not to mention all the occasions for celebratory cake. And I always do that with a lot of delight because hey, I can make or order and eat as many treats as I'd like. Never claimed I was a responsible adult, but you know, if that means having sweets, that's fine with me. So, what's your favorite part about adulthood? mostly when i'm riding my motorcycle -- that's when i'm really thinking, thank god i'm an adult and i get to do this. because my mom wouldn't let me get a bike until i was 18, and then she told me she didn't want me to get a bike, but she knew she couldn't stop me. so that's exactly what I did. i got my first bike at 18, and now i have far too many and own my own motorcycle company, so yeah, i love being an adult. but, my mom was also pretty strict with sweets too, my stepdad was as well, and they always had that rule that you only got sweet treats during 'special occasions,' and it was like halloween, christmas, easter, and so on. so, don't mind me being jealous that sometimes you got at least two sugary treats a month! also you brought up iced coffee, and i'm such an old man that i just tried iced coffee for the first time the other day -- what's your order? because right now i'm addicted to an iced brown sugar shaken espresso, and never did i dream i would like something with oat milk in it. also, please share cupcakes with me. i've been craving something sweet all week so far and was toying with the idea of making some cupcakes myself! though i'm currently in budapest filming, so it'll be a trip to get them to me! || @dastmalchianhq

I'd be all for us being in a comedy together, especially with some of the projects I've done lately. I need something a little lighter, and you know I'd love to work with you again.
