Every second feels like an eternity now that I know someone is actually diligently working on an English translation for Star Ocean Blue Sphere. I have been checking up on any sort of progress for 10+ years, and just NOW are we seeing an actual possibility of release!
It’s been a long while, but there’s finally a complete translation for the game. https://www.fishyfacegames.com/product/so-blue-sphere/ I can confirm that it’s real, since I got my copy of it a week ago. Sadly, the patch is not available online, so you’ll still need to wait on Gideon’s translation to be done before you can get a copy for emulation. On a side note- the translation is mostly good, with only a few hiccups along the way. Nothing that’s made it difficult to understand what’s happening in-game, but a few issues are present.
