Censor board lifts ban on Durj by Shamoon Abbasi

Recently the news of censor board banning Shamoon Abbasi’s Durj has become the talk of the town. She has a lot of hit drama serials to her credit. These serials include Chup Raho, O’Rangreeza, recently concluded Aangan and many more. The stunning actress has received ample praise for her remarkable performance in Geo Entertainment’s recently begin drama serial “Alif”. In this serial, she is cast opposite Hamza Ali Abbasi. Essaying the role of a struggling actress, she shows how the film industry could turn crucial to a model who wants to earn her bread through positive ways. Sajal Aly has indeed portrayed the emotions and feelings of a girl who finds no way. Her role as Momina Sultan will further intensify major issues that will be surrounding her life. Alif—Promises to be a Super hit of this Era

Alif Drama serial is getting a lot of public appreciation after its first episode just rocked the TV screens on Saturday, October 05. From the first episode, the fans are of the view that Alif has the potential of becoming a super hit of this era for sure. So, let’s explore the first episode of this blockbuster drama serial. The beginning of the serial was so soothing and intense that we were unable to take our eyes off the serial and were curious to explore more and more about the happenings.

From the very first scene, the concept of Alif was explained to us. A young boy seeing his father turning into a star and later on praying to Allah to return his father. This seemed to be the debut serial of our little champ Pehlaj, the son of an acclaimed journalist and host. He is essaying the role of young Momin, the adult is being played by the stunner Hamza Ali Abbasi. Moving on to the next chapter, the adult Momin, who is a successful director and always producing hit movies. He is, somehow, a shrewd and arrogant type of person who has no feelings at all.

With the very first conversation with one of his heroines, he revealed that he doesn’t repeat heroines in his movie. This also gives a glimpse into his character which sort of a person he is. Then comes the heroin of the show, the gorgeous Sajal Ali who has done absolutely perfect like usual. Sajal aka Momina is a girl who is in dire need of money for her brother’s treatment. She belongs to a middle class family. She is portrayed as a struggling actress who has only worked in serials and soaps.

She is all set to make her film debut with Momin. One interesting thing is that they are having quite similar names i.e. Momin and Momina, doesn’t it sound like they are destined to fall in love with each other? Exploring some useful pieces of the memory line, we are again taken into the past, in the life of young Momin, living with his mother Kubra Khan. She informed him that soon they will be meeting with his father. Both mother and son are excited to welcome their guest. We can smell something fishy as she is always seen depressed and sober. There are still some pieces of information about this family that are yet to be explored. Getting back into the present, the first encounter between Momina and Momin is the worst one. During auditions, Momin asked her to remove her dupatta. She does so but with little hesitation which was shown on her face. She was uncomfortable but performed without dupata just for the sake of her brother. Things get intense when Momin discussed her dressing which is a sort of mini skirt. She refused to wear and he just rejected her. Meanwhile, she forgets her files at the studio. While taking her files Momin misunderstood her with hovering around for a role that irritates her and she forgets whom she is talking to. She abruptly yells at him and said that “Me Yahan Kaam Lenay ayi hun Izzat Bechny Nahi”.

This powerful performance by Sajal Ali has won the hearts of her fans and they are eager to see what comes next.
