I don’t think Nile is getting the props he deserves. This guy literally tried to comfort Falco even though he was from Marley, and did what he thought was right by sending him to his brother and telling him he should leave the battle field before things got worse.

It’s moments of true humanity here that really paint a bright picture in an almost bleak world like snk. And it’s great to see adult characters who don’t repeat the same mistakes as those that came before them and actually show that empathy and kindness is just as strong as anything.

I’ve just read the Opera Hen manga sequel and found out that Chiaki gives Nodame a ring after the opera! I like how Nodame reacts to that event as she has matured and not go berserk on Chiaki when he puts the ring on her. She even mocks Chiaki on wether he bought the ring in Vietnam (LOL). I wish Ninomiya-san put in the scene when Chiaki bought the ring. I wonder how it would be, like when he bought Nodame the necklace.

Our Nodame is no longer a baby! She is now a woman!
