"I-I'm sorry for all the trouble, really!!" was all that Kayn said, as he quickly but quietly tried to step away. What was he even doing?! It sure wasn't the first time he'd done something like this, and It definetly won't be the last.
"I just need to get a good-ol gem flower, as simple as that !" was what he repeated in his mind, more than thrice, as he approached the local market. He couldn't stay much longer to enjoy the daily performances - Kayn couldn't stay for much longer either way.
Upon the various options in that regular sized stand, a round, polished, cherry-like one had captured his eye.
He was relived. It was easier than Kayn had imagined, thankfully. As he readjusted his glasses, he tried to reach out for the little bag he had decided to bring, to keep his currencies in place. Emphasis on tried.
He made the mistake of giving a quick glance on his right, as just on the side of the stand there was something that looked like a small animal ranch, though It was covered in colorful blankets, with various types of embroidery.
He was so confused but fascinated by them, that Kayn didn't realize he was getting closer and closer. His mind told every inch of his body to go back and just get the gem, yet curiosity might kill the cat, but what about some random florist?
Boy, why did he do that.
Just, why.
As soon as he raised just one of the blankets, he was taken aback by the peacock head that immidiately submerged, making him jump where he stood.
Many other heads came to the surface, their noises all around the relatively calm market. If they weren't so loud, Kayn could almost hear the owner's not-so-nice words he had shouted to the tall man.
To be sure, he tried to give a small apology, though that didn't stop him from backing up away from the havoc and chaos he accidentally caused.
It didn't help that he didn't once look where he was going.
While Zlatan's looks usually commanded attention, not that he minded it per se, currently - it was his biggest problem. The journey to the ice castle was peaceful at first, they left the capital with little to no problems, yet it seems not all of his guards were too fond of the jewel king, as a coup was staged.
And now, the bedazzled king is in the middle of the market place, too far from the capital to return by foot, not far enough from the guards for his liking.
Constantly looking behind himself, despite the commotion of the loud peacocks, when he just so happens to spot a few very familiar faces with swords in hand, not looking for a flower to buy or a brothel to visit, thats for sure.
As though the blasted fate would have it, one of his little fans happens to look right at him, not too happy to see the blonde. Beads of sweat form on Zlatan's face, as he starts backing away. Too bad he doesn't have eyes on his scalp.
As soon as Kayn's back felt something, he yelped, taken yet again by surprise, slowly turning around.
Part of him didn't want to look, and be face to face with lord knows who or what, but, he didn't have much choise, did he? When he realised It wasn't another peacock, he truly was glad. At least, they would've understood him.
When he fully turned around, he slouched a little, moreso out of habit.
"Sorry, sorry! Are you alright - sir...?"
What was the oddest thing about the man in front of him was the amount of jewels, all adorning various parts of his body. It's not an usual sight, even more so in a small market like this. Precious gems, on various forms and colours, all shining, splendid.
"Maybe he's a jeweler - a merchant? Well, a rich one at that ! " Was his first thought, though he noted the mess that was the man's hair.
Perhaps he had also been running, but from what? Suddently, he heard a loud shriek, coming not so far from where the pair was. Kayn could recognize that sound from miles, and he heard It closer and closer by the second.
He didn't have much time before the charging peacock were to crash with them, so, more instintevly, he grabbed (maybe a little too hard) the merchant's arm, as he also tried to match Kayn's speed, in order for neither of them to get hurt.
They didn't have much time to talk, their only thought to get away as further and fastest as they could.
As soon as Zlatan feels someone bump into his back, he close to jumps back, clearly on edge. He could've sworn he was about to meet sun herself for a moment.
The man in front of him was quite young, no older than 20, with glasses with what looked like amethyst on the chain and dark, unkept hair.
Although he was about to apologize, the fact that the guards are now getting closer and the ungodly screech of the peacock running straight at them might've staggered any words he had, as the young man grabbed his hand and started sprinting. Two is a company and he'd rather not have a crowd of raging peacocks and men out for his blood.
They run as fast as they can, passing dancers, singers and merchants, before Zlatan turns a sharp corner into an alley, close to dislocating his own wrist, nevermind the young man. Both panting like dogs, they see the guards run past them and Zlatan sighs in relief.
Kayn had never ran that fast, at least up until then.
Whether that be the adrenaline rush or because he was worrying for the jewelled stranger, that ended up with him all covered in sweat, the guards running past them not helping. He was then convinced - maybe the man was a thief? Well, it's not like he didn't see worse.
Still, nobody deserved to be chased down by such a bloodthirsty crowd. He was glad. He turned back to the man, still panting on his right side.
He waited a few more seconds for them both to calm down, as he rested his back against the alley's wall. After a while, the younger man spoke.
"Gosh - what's up with those guards?! It's not like we've commicted - I don't know..? Murder?"
Almost as though a lightning hit him, he stopped.
"Gah, I'm so sorry we had to meet like this -"
He said, as he leaned over to the street and walked towards the man, now in front of him,
"- I'm Kayn! I uhh , might have freed those peacocks, accidentally mind you. Should'nt have used such pretty blankets if you didn't want them to be freed!"
"I-I'm sorry for all the trouble, really!!" was all that Kayn said, as he quickly but quietly tried to step away. What was he even doing?! It sure wasn't the first time he'd done something like this, and It definetly won't be the last.

Kayn has shoulder length, fluffy black hair, which he sometimes keeps tied up in a ponytail. His skin is tanned, with coral undertones.
A pair of freckles lays on his face, though they're hard to notice at first glance. What's easy to notice Is his stature, taller than most, though he's not particularly beefy either.
His almond, iris colored eyes give him a friendlier look, as well as pointy ears on the sides of his head. He has a little smile stampted on his face.

Personality;
Bubbly and clumsy, Kayn is generally someone who's vibing with the Friends™, even if that vibe might end up in something not so vibey but hey at least you'd be with him!!
He's very cheerful, someone you'd like to have around from time to time. A goofball most call him, but a kind one at that.
In short; he's the goddest boy<33but my god Is he stupid

Trivia;
He's originary from South Italy, more specifically Naples.
Kayn has a boyfriend, and no, that won't be changed, even for rps or aus. (Anyways they r referred to as The Beloveds/Boys and i love them so dearly)
His birthday Is on the same day as the creator, which Is on the 8th of march.
Kayn and Ruri are proud owners of a cat, whose name Is Fedus. She's a 2y/o girlie and she looks like this.
Kayn absolutely adores to give names to things he has a connection with. For example, if someone close to him were to give him a anything, even a small pen, he'd still give It a name and take great care of It.
He's a summer enjoyer!!
Kayn's love language Is physical contact. With a partner he would get extremely clingy, especially indoors and alone. That doesn't mean friends are apart from that; he will still hug them or scruff their hair if that meant staying close with them. He's just affectionate like that, even if that affection isn't romantic or platonic.
If It wasn't clear already, he's kind of an hopeless romantic, and his inability to form coherent english sentences plays in that. <\3
